I graduated from the apprenticeship last year and it was to be the start of my electrical career, then the economy took a crapper. No new construction, means no work. So I have a job, ushering at the Kennedy Center, gets me out the house.

My job paid for my house and it gets me comics each week so I am not complaining. I wouldn't have a clue what carreer to take now even if one was offered to me. I like to write but I know I am not good enough tomake a living off of it.

Unless you're a janitor/custodian type, if you have to clean up your company's bathrooms on a rotating schedule or they ask you to "lend a hand and clean up the bathroom", you got yourself a j-o-b.

I've got a job but would kill for a career. I dont have a lot of time with my job now as it is so I might as well get more out of my work.
