Sequels Carnage Casting

These moviemakers could come up with anything you know. I think they could find a suitable way to bring Carnage into SM4 without using Venom.

It was done in the Ultimate universe, with Dr. Connors using a sample of Spider-Man's blood and the symbiote to create a black and red symbiote, which grew from a few inches long to the size of an adult rapidly and escaped.

They could easily do that in SM4 and have both Carnage and Lizard, so maybe the rumors are true after all.

Get real guys there ain't gonna be no Carnage in any of the subsequent films.
SM3 Venom sucked harder than an industrial vacuum cleaner, using the symbiotes is a BAD idea, it’s just too likely to come off cheesy and crap again, plus Venom is now dead and the symbiote was incinerated meaning Carnage is impossible.

Carnage is crap anyway.
Lizard, Mysterio, and Kraven are all WAY better and actually have substance.

Seriously, there’s more chance of Howard the Duck being the villain in SM4.

What a dumb comment. Of course there's a chance of Carnage being in a movie, if for no other reason than Carnage = Money.

But not yet. It'd seem to repetitive right after Venom, much in the same way it would have been repetitive to use Harry as the villain in Spider-Man 2.

I like Cillian Murphy as Carnage a lot, but Im torn between what everyones sayin about Knepper. Either would do for me.

I'll post my drawing of Knepper as Carnage here, I acutally could see him as Carnage...

Do you understand that regardless of your feelings, SM3 is a huge hit. They will use any villain they feel will put people in the theatre.

The fact that you thought Venom sucked is beyond irrelevant.

Holy smoke!!!!!!! You drew that?!?!?!?!

yeah, I used a picture of Robert Knepper and my imagination for the carnage symbiote (yeah that drawing's kind of crap yeah), because although I'm not very keen on having carnage in a SP movie, I think that RObert Knepper might do the part very well: he has the looks and can definitely play the evilness of the character. If some day they'll put carnage in a SP movie, I'll cheer for Robert Knepper

But it's just my opinion

Can I ask why Robert Knepper is such a popular choice? I mean, I've seen him in Prison Break... and it doesn't exactly scream Carnage to me. Cletus Kasady is a pretty specific type of character. He's very... I'm not quite sure how to describe it... loud, chaotic, gleeful... I don't know. The best way to describe it is that, in terms of personality, he's more this:

...than he is this:

If that makes any sense at all.

Very good work man.I like Knepper myself but I really can't picture him as Carnage though. He has that creepy like look but nowhere near psychotic or looney.Sorry

True. He's more likely to grin like Lillard but sometimes you can see him grin like Knepper lol

NO CARNAGE!

There's nothing that Carnage can offer the franchise, maybe with an R-rated Spider-Man, but a PG-13 Carnage, hell no. We've seen Carnage in both Sandman and Venom powers. THE LIZARD should be the next villain in line for SM4, without another symbiote character taking up his space. And if THE LIZARD is the next villain, you need a secondary villain who will compliment his story/character...like KRAVEN THE HUNTER.

No more non-Stan Lee created villains, please. Which means no Black Cat or Carnage in Spider-Man 4.

im i the only one sick of people coming into casting threads and saying this character shouldnt be in a movie? just because theres a casting thread, doesnt mean they are gonna be in a movie

I see your point. But don't you think that having someone having that evil smile look playing Cletus (even if it's what he does in the comics) would make carnage some sort of ""Joker look alike" with a symbiote" (still it would be more close to what he looks in the comis)? My personnal choice is Robert Knepper is because I think he could bring the maniac, psychopath that kind of makes the inner core of the carnage character. But it's just my opinion and I respect yours

At first I agreed with everyone on Robert Knepper, I mean he has the look but now I'm questioning if he could pull off the insane part. That guy from Harry Potter seems like the best bet at this point in time, he looks like him and he definitely pulled off the crazy part, but then you have to hope he can do a good "american" accent. Ryan Reynolds cannot do Carnage because he's the perfect Flash, besides it will be a long time before we see Carnage in a movie anyways.

Which guy from Harry Potter?

like them getting the symbiote from conners. listen im as skeptical as many people but i feel if carnage comes back im fine with it too. but listen. if hes in sp4 i will not be happy. he needs to be later on. kinda like how they DEVELOPED harry. they need to DEVELOPE cletus. more so in 5 and bring carnage in 6. just like the goblins we need a one movie break

Cletus doesn't need development.

Hence why Carnage is such a crap character.

i know i know. but if they were to do him they need to DEVELOPE him. i dont think carnage sucks but for a movie? i think id be weird but id like to see it. i know alot would more than me and im for it but not in spiderman 4. o god no
