Cast the Dark knight Returns!

So it was a waste of money to digitally de-age Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan in the opening of "X-Men 3" ?

It costs more to digitally de-age those characters than it would to practically age Gershon. And while I can't speak for "The Last Stand" as a whole, it sure looked like it paid off to me.

ya but thats different, they wanted them to look like the same person, just a little younger, this is completely different
a)we have never seen her as the character before like ian and stewart
b)it was a flash back scene with the same characters only like what? 20 years younger? no need to cast someone for those minor parts, especially if they want the characters to look the same exept for wrinkles etc
c)i think it would show selina more than it showed the flash back scene in x3, so they would be spending lots of money
just get someone older for the role

Fox at least coughed up the dough for that scene. Warner couldn't even give Michael Caine a little makeup in the flash backs in Begins. Seriously, I'm not even asking for digitally de-aging, but couldn't they have at least made Caine's hair black...but no, 20 years later and he looks the exact same, not a single wrinkle has changed! Hath not aged a day. Alfred must be using some good facial oil:wow:

Rachel Dawes and Gordon didn't really age, too. It seems only Bruce Wayne is a mere mortal. :wow:

i think there are actresses in the 50+ age range that are more talented than gina gershon.

for bruce wayne, i would prefer harrison ford to most choices. i would also like to see Richard E Grant as the joker, although defoe or bowie would be good.

Clint could still do batman I think.

have you read DKR? Willis would be great for that version of Batman

DKR? Is this that story where Batman is turned into a human bicylce and saves the world with a rainbow making device?

Well, no. He is not really Batman-ish.

Have Michael Keaton be Batman. He could definitely pull off DARK KNIGHT RETURNS Batman.

Yeah right. Burton. The guy who can't direct action scenes. The guy with the Gothic style. That guy should make the 80s action'n'destruction party that is the DKR.

And Keaton. Yeah right. Like he could play the DKR "Rambo (Part 2)" Batman. He was - partly - okay for the silent Batman in the Burton movies but really... that wouldn't work.

Batman 89 & Batman Returns were great movies and action scenes well done.
Keaton is the best Batman out there with Bale.

Doesn't matter how good they were -- DKR style and Burton style do not mix! Everyone MUST see that.

They could just make a "loose adaption".
