I'm not talking about DKR I just wanna know if they were to put him in one of the movies would they go as far to put the Delusional pedophile or the other mad hatter.

When's he ever been a pedophile?

I think it was during a series called "Gotham Central" or something. But anyway, I think we should get back to DKR, I should have never stimulated this Mad Hatter discussion. Trailing off topic isn't terrible I guess, but there are about 3 DKR threads up and it would be nice if we could keep this on topic so it can become the popular one, that way when this "clean up" happens, maybe this thread won't be the one thats erased.

Dennis Quiad would be a better Bruce Wayne IMO. George Clooneys alredy had his run as Batman. It.....wasn't good. He's done. Though the Keaton Joker thing would be quite ironic, I'd prefer someone like Christopher Walken or David Bowie; I don't know much about the acting skills of the latter, but he looks the part.

For sentimental reasons I'd like Keaton to be the DKR Bats. If we're goin for who looks best like the part, Get Russel Crowe and age him a bit.

clooney would work because he's already aged for the role -- he's supposed to be around fifty and clooney with a bit more work would look the part -- sure he's had the part but he wasn't the weak link in that film. it was pretty much everyone else since the main spotlight wasn't on him.

Yes, but its like what everyone else is saying: Casting Clooney or Keaton wouldn't make sense to a normal viewer anyway because they would think that DKR was part of Keaton's movies or Clooney's movie. They would think it was a sequel to B89 and the rest. Its a followup to those movies, but not a direct sequel.

that's a dumb reason to not cast anyone; the batman movies are already assumed to be rough continuations of each other except for the most recent ones. why not make it part of the original continuity? no one *****ed too much whenever the actors for the main lead were changed. even more -- no one seemed to have noticed harvey dent went from being black to white between the 1st and 3rd movies. they'll just assume that this batman movie is set in the future. we're gonna fill the cast with geriatrics anyway -- might as well make them familiar.

i think connery would be tooooo old for the green arrow. he'd have worked back when he made Robin & Marrian with audrey hepburn back in the 70's ...

al pacino. i can see him in the green arrow role.

Connery would be my top choice for Green Arrow, but he's retired.

I'd like to see Anthony Hopkins in the role.

Hey bdsproductions, have you ever read DKR?

several times and i thought it's main flaw was ruceshould have been about a decade older.

55 works but 65 doesn't. how many of our parents are retirement age and how many of them could climb a rope, let alone play ninja?

How many people have Frick'n Former Superheroes as parents?

a ten year difference in age between 45 - 55 if hardly noticeable. 55 - 65 is a much bigger age gap than 45 - 65.

Russel Crowe has the right build and thew right voice, which is a crucial element to the character. He has to be a leader, somone who commands almost blind following and I don't think no one really does it better than Crowe. Plus, he can look older, just watch the insider. And he's one of the best actors in the world. He is more than perfect.

As much as I don't like Russell Crowe, he's really not a bad choice.
