No he doesn't.
He just wants to see who people want the most for a teenage Spider-Man.
Asa is winning.
Then he can ask that on the Spiderman casting thread, he doesn't need a new one.

Totally that was my point we already have two main thread about peter casting where we been talking all these things over. There is no need for a 3rd on same topic. Heck isn't there a limit to these type of threads from mods.

Just to correct some information: Spencer List is actually 17, not 16. He turned 17 last week.

And I was actually thinking before of withdrawing all my votes for any of these teenagers, because as I said before, whoever gets it out of these just seems like they're going to be the best of a bad bunch and not anyone I really want in particular. Even if I had to pick one, it's more like only if a gun were put to my head. Otherwise, I don't really support anyone here. They're all unsatisfactory, so I'm not going to vote for any.

I voted but I agree with this. Pretty much somes up how I feel about these guys.

Also this kid, Ian Nelson, is 19 and I dont think anyones mentioned him. I dont think hed be good in the role but since hes been poppin up in a few things here and there I thought hey, another potential.

I don't know much about his acting, but damn, he looks like Peter.

Does it really matter? Its not like I even want him in the role, im pretty much just bored.

No, just discussing him. I, am also bored...or just procrastinating. But, either way..

Lmao same here:hmr:
Looks like he played flashback derek which is weird because he comes across as a meek guy, the opposite of derek

Talion did we really need another casting thread for peter. When we already have the general thread and cast the next spidey threads. Where we already been discussing everything surrounding Pete casting.

The first thread was completely outdated and based on Dylan O'Brien, Logan Lerman and Vicent Martella as options for the role. Since we've got a relevant amount of news, I thought it would be wise to have a thread where we can discuss which actor should become Spider-Man, considering that they want an actor to play a Spider-Man in high school for an extended period of time.

I think he kinda wants to rub it in people's face that Dylan might be out of the picture.

Do you seriously believe that I wen through all the trouble of researching all these actors, their correct names and agens to "rub it in people's face" that Dylan is out of the picture? C'mon dude, I expect at least some of us here to act like mature people here. What I want with this thread is to spark a conversation over the actors that are more likely to get the role now. Yes I understand that a lot of people want Dylan and Logan and others would like Marvel to go with an older actor. The thing is that they want someone to stay in high school for more time.

Can we have a thread to discuss that without the drama?

I think it's fine to create another poll, but not to create a 'new' thread that contains all your little rules for who spider is, purposefully not including people who you don't think should be on the table...
So discuss that poll, but any new submissions for people should still be on the original thread. There really should just be a way to make a poll without needing a new forum...

It's not my rules. It's what we know giving the information that Marvel has provided. It wouldn't make sense to cast a 23 years old to play a 15 years old Peter Parker, just like it wouldn't make sense to cast Dylan O'Brien to play a 15 years old Stiles NOW. Can you understand that? Dylan would be right and a strong contender four years ago. I feel like a 19-20 years old actor (not all of them, but some) can play convincing 15 year olds, just like O'Brien did with Stiles all these years. The thing is, Marvel is casting for a 15-16 teenager now, and O'Brien was cast as a 15 year old Stiles four years ago. He doesn't fit that age anymore, it's just that, the age limit is real, and it should, so Marvel can choose an actor that we all can believe is a 15 year old.

So what about the polls. It really a moot point since any of those threads once we past the first 41 pages version. Threads thst are rebooted by thread manager polls can't be altered. Them like I said anything you talked here we already where discussing in the other threads. So why make another thread on the same topic we been talking on.

As for hs setting as much as they say they want to stay here for a bit. Even if he is 15 and a freshmen for first film. If each solo film comes out every 2 yrs. 17 19 and 21. With the way mcu times flow. He be a freshmen in solo 1. A junior in solo 2. And if solo 3 was 21 he be done with school. Really only two solo films in a 2 yr limit filming likely be at. We honestly can't see teen Pete for more then that. With also other mcu films making refrence to him in school or what not.

I don't think we'll reach 41 pages before the announcement. And even if we do, the topic here is not the same that the previous topic was going for. This topic is very specific, knowing that they are casting a teenager Peter, and giving this age range of 15-20 years old actors, what are the actors that people would like to see.

Can we go back to the topic now?

Your rules.
If a 25 year old looked EXACTLY like a 15 year old he should be considered. If he looks young enough he should be considered. No age limit needed. Age limit is YOUR RULES.
I would be fine if you updated the poll to include more people, and stated that IYO they will probably only cast someone at the oldest 20, but 3 years older isn't even that big of a difference! Especially when hes already 20! It depends COMPLETELY on the person on whether they look young enough, and whether they look young enough, or whether they are good for PP and SM are OPINIONS. You are making a new thread with your OPINIONS as the standard.

It's obvious that it's your rules. You can ignore it, but it's still true.

Not my rules. Again, please stick to the topic and stop derailing the thread.

Kinda funny that you say that cuz I was looking at some pictures of dylan sprayberry (16) and he actually looks older than o'brien

So if some of these teenagers look as old as O'Brien, should they be disqualified? Some of the Disney actors look the same age as him, including Billy Unger, and also

Austin North (18),

Blake Michael (18)

and Peyton Clark (20).

Or do they get a pass purely just because they fall within this age range you've restricted it to?

Except an age limit is important if you have plans for a series of high school Peter and you want to avoid something that happened twice now, but okay.

They may look young enough now, but what about the eventual Spider-Man sequel? That's what this is about, because you're not just factoring in what Marvel's gonna do but also what Sony is going to do.

O'Brien could maybe get in one film as high school Peter before they'd rush him too because his age would be starting to kick in.

Even recent photos are doing that now.

To think some people are still considering O'Brien for a 15-16 year old Peter is mind-boggling.

Back on topic, aside from my own choices, I'd go young as possible to ensure some much needed longevity so we can avoid another reboot in 5 years or so, or a possible recasting.

They are filming IWs both 2016. He will already be almost graduating then. He only needs to be young enough for literally 1-2 years.

As for a young actor, Teo is the main one I like. But he is probably too young because of the time warp. :/

...in that order

1. Charlie Rowe
2. Nick Robinson
3. Mateus Ward
4. Dylan Everett
5. Billy Unger
6. Ryan Potter

Can you cast your votes on our poll? You can vote all of your candidates if you want to. This thread's objective is to gauge who of these younger actors the fans would like to see getting the role.

Well why not then go into the 13-14 age range?
