The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

Yea he ain't my no.1 choice. But like you say, I could imagine him in that role.

I could see award winning actor Jermey Piven as Black Mask as well. I am not saying he is my choice, just a suggestion. He is known for playing slimy, rotten villain types and he was great in Smokin' Aces. Plus he is in great shape, not many people realize under all those Armani suits but the guy is ripped.

I agree, but I really don;t know about his voice, I always think of a really deep somewhat creepy voice, much like the way it was in The Batman

Well, Bale changed his voice behind the mask and so did Cillian Murphy.

These would be my considerations for each role, were I in Nolan's spot:

Catwoman: Eva Green

The Riddler: Johnny Depp, Don Cheadle, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio

The Penguin: Alan Rickman

Black Mask: Clive Owen (for a more cerebral villain), Michael Madsen (if I were to go more of a mobster-route)

Bane: Mickey Rourke (doing both body and voice), or Derek Mears (the latest Jason Voorhees) in the suit with someone else voicing the character

Mr. Freeze: Daniel Craig (again, for a more cerebral, angry villain), Patrick
Stewart (for a more sympathetic, tragic villain)

Nah. Shes cute, but I cant see her being fit for Talia. If we had to cast a middle eastern, Aishwarya is alot better.

Pinto is a great actress though, but I think she has to prove hersef a little bit more.

Neither Aishwarya nor Freida are Middle Eastern and they definitely don't look it, especially Freida. South Asian =/= Middle Eastern.

Middle Eastern women that look Talia-ish... They should cast an American actress with their type of look.

I have been in that argument a couple of times here. Im not gonna go into it. Casting a middle eastern chick with that^ argument is one thing. But casting a middle eastern woman because she's middle eastern is pretty idiotic.

That's what Im saying. That is one thing I can respect, instead of trying to come up which middle eastern women can play the part.

Why? There's always going to be a criteria before you get deep into casting. I can guarantee you Nolan was looking for white actors when looking for Bruce and Alfred. As long as at the end of the day these actors can do the job well, then I see no problem with prerequisites.

It doesnt really makes sense to turn down an actress because she look like she could have been Liam Neeson's daughter.

1) Casting an actress that happens?
2) Casting an actress BECAUSE she is middle eastern?

because you disagreed with me when I said no2 isnt ok. And if you're casting somebody because she's middle eastern, then you are turning down white actresses because they are white.
