Clooney would've made a great Batman. Actually, he would've made an excellent Gordon in Begins. He rocked a moustache in Confessions of A Dangerous Mind and his performance in Michael Clayton really showed up a similar side to his range that Oldman displayed as Gordon.

He's "not bad"? The guy has been consistently giving out good performances for the past 2 decades. He's highly regarded to be the top tier in his acting class, by peers, fans, and critics alike.

She's had plenty of diverse roles. One look at her filmography and you'll see she's surprisingly done quite a few. The problem is she's not convincing and she's wooden. The F4 movies are prime examples of how laughably bad she is.

She plays her parts just fine, besides how much acting does catwoman really need. Michelle Pfeifer (spelling) come on. Shes a great actress but that movie would have never proved it, yet her part was fine.

The scenes where she she goes completely insane in her apartment, and when she's breaking down after finding out Bruce's secret are but of only two moments of brilliance on Michelle's part. She's captivating, vulnerable, and dangerous all at the same time. To even ask how much acting this role needs is a slap in the face to the character and just goes to show how completely ignorant you are.

I rarely give advice, but you should consider to stop watching films in general. I haven't seen such a grand display in cinematic viewing deficiency...since, probably ever. You've hit that sweet spot in pinpointing the best and worst of Hollywood's popular names, and utilizing them in the most backwards capacity possible. Congrats on that humongous failure.

I wouldn't go so far as to call her the worst actor in Hollywood, but she's definitely down there. She isn't given roles she can act well but because she's eye candy. See Megan Fox.

Catwoman does need a great actress. One of the things Nolan's series can pride itself on is the great cast in both of the films, with the exception of the two actresses that played Rachel (although Gyllenhaal was infinitely better than Holmes, I still didn't like Gyllenhaal's performance). Catwoman needs a great actress so that she can not only join the great actors already in the franchise, but to give the ladies some respect.

Although her part was not exactly Catwoman material per se, she still acted brilliant in the movie IMO. She expressed her character (whatever character it was really supposed to be heh) quite well. The part may not have showcased Catwoman very well, but I think it displayed some fine acting qualities.

I agree, IMO Christoph Waltz was the best in the film, he did a remarkable job. While, a younger Riddler would be ideal, I think Waltz would be an exception

If they ever recast The Joker, you know who I'm thinking might be good for the role, even if he is a bit old these days? Woody Harrelson. Before you balk at me, check him out in Natural Born Killers to see what I mean. The guy can play a deranged yet intelligent lunatic killer well and his character in that film is even a bit similar to TDK Joker. He even looks a little like an older Ledger, which would be good for consistancy purposes. I thought he was amazing and surprising in NBK, and I think going purely by that movie he can do a good Joker. I strongly suggest seeing the Director's Cut of the film and checking out the deleted courtroom scene as well. I don't see The Joker being recasted, but it he was, I think either Harrelson or JGL should be the top contenders for it.
