It has become evident that Nolan is looking for Actors that love to challenge themselves. The choose of Ledger in the Beginning seemed a stretch by ledger was an actor that loved to challenge himself. His choice directly showed the kind of man Nolan is, a man not afriad to go against the grain..

her are some choices and names..i begin with

RoadToPerdition19.jpg

The Riddler-Jude Law, if you havent seen "Road to Perdition" then you might not be able to visualize what range law really has. he played a very convincing and utterly creppy hit man. also Nolan often cast foreign actors in American roles.

for this roles id watch out for Law or Hugo Weaving...

Law always gets chosen by the fans to play Joker, The Riddler or a different Batman character, don't get me wrong he's an good actor not good as say Christian Bale or Gary Oldman.

BB3
Johnny Depp for the Joker
Guy Pearce for the Riddler
Jake Gyllenhaal for Black Mask
Angelina Jolie for Catwoman

I really hope they don't recast The Joker, it appears Heath gave us a performance that will be remembered for decades (Like Jack did in 1989) and to have another Joker just three years later wouldn't work for me

The majority of you wanted to see Vin Diesel play Killer Croc. This is a rough manip of what he might look like.

:woot:

Majority? where did you get that from? Other way around, majority DON'T want to see Diesel as Croc.

Cool manip though.

Seems to me that most people agree that Diesel would be a fine choice for Croc. He or Perlman are my top choices.

And I agree with Lando 100% on his Jude Law post.

Ty, I got those statistics by looking at how many people have casted him as Killer Croc.

Johhny Depp still has my vote as the Riddler, but here's an idea of what Jude Law would look like as him.

Looks a little too young to me. Kinda looks like a cross between the guy who plays pyro on x-men and Hayden Christiansen. Thats just me though. I just like makin manips.

I want to see something quite a bit different than the villains we've had in the last two... I really want to see Mr. Freeze done well, and I'd love to see Nolan take a crack at him... I don't want a bunch of riddles throughout the entire movie, even though I guess that could certainly show off Batman's wits...

Maybe Ben Kingsley or Ed Harris

I, too would like to see some different villians. Especially ones that weren't used in the last franchise like Ventriloquist and Scarface, Clayface, the Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Man Bat, heck I wouldn't mind seeing the Monk. DC needs to stop using the same heroes, villians, and plots in their movie and be creative. Though, I wouldn't mind seeing Mr. Freeze again considering they didn't do that great a job on him in the first franchise.

They re-introduce Batman to the mainstream with Scarecrow and Ra's Al Ghul, so they've already demonstrated that they're willing to move from the more common 60's TV series rogues.

This might be a little bit of creepy suggestion for Harley Quinn but I couldn't help but notice in this picture that Michelle Williams has that look I think of with Harley, pretty girl, round face, big eyes and that blonde thing about her

Since The Prestige, Andy Serkis has always been my top choice for Penguin.

Slightly off topic but my first choice for Batman after Bale calls it quits is Thomas Jane.

Yes, I realized they did this and I was happy to see it, but now they are revamping Joker and Two Face and most likely, in the next movie we'll see catwoman and the riddler. I just feel we need a change.

I can see Jude Law as the Riddler, but there are many actors who can play the obsessive villain

Vin Diesel as Killer Croc? I'm not sure... I think Ron Perlman can play a better Killer Croc.

It depends who lives and dies in TDK.

He's already involved with another major comic book character. Get someone who isn't like, I don't know, say....Vin Diesel?:whatever:

Jude Law: Riddler
Stanely Tucci: Mr. Freeze
Paul Giamatti: Ventriloquist
George Clooney: Matt Hagen/Clayface

And another question: Do you think Nolan would keep names like "Edward NYGMA" and "Victor FRIES." It just doesn't seem to me he would go for those names in his universe. They seem a little too silly to fly. Any thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't mind. And if "Mr. Freeze" somehow showed up in the third movie, I could honestly go without them ever calling him Mr. Freeze. I'm liking this trend lately of lightly referencing villain names, but never actually addressing them by said names (Iron Man: Iron Monger, The Incredible Hulk: Abomination).

How would you guys handle this?

I gotta say, I like Pauley Perrette as Harley. Since Nolan's Joker is more filthy, dirty emaciated and looks like a believable psycho crazy I reckon we wouldnt get a buxom blonde Harley either...I suggest Summer Glau, because she can do bat-poop crazy, is quite creepy when she wants to be and is young enough to come across as an intelligent yet naive young woman who could become obsessed with someone like Ledgers Mr.J and happily carve a smile on her own face to follow him...plus, as the Riddler Id say Casey Affleck cos unlike his brother the guy can act, looks the role (to me)and can do creepy and obsessive. I dont want a campy over-the-top Riddler, I dont even want him as flamboyant as Ledgers Joker (which is awesome, but for the Joker only)...Nolan should take note of the cold calculating obsessive Riddler of the animated series...I think thats the way to go if he becomes increasingly egotistical and meglomaniacal (is that a word?) as the film progresses
