The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

When you say 'the real Joker' it sounds like all you're saying all the other Jokers are fake. If you mean 'realistic', say 'realistic'.

This joker is realistic and seems more real then any that has come before.

This is the most circular discussion I've seen in a while. :funny:

Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin and Johnny Depp or possibly Jude Law as The Riddler would both be great!

No to Jude Law yes to johnny depp and a big YES to Philip Seymour Hoffman

LOL no i worded that wrong!! I meant Guy for Riddler! Haha I just pictured that, it made me lulz.

Nah Pearce would make great Batman, Two-Face or Black Mask.

I dunno about Batman, he is wayyyy too skinny. He would make Keaton look like a beast!! But Black Mask is a good shout. But I like Josh Brolin for that role.

Pierce as Batman would be horrible. Too skinny and not good looking enough for Bruce, Bale is just right.

True, but so was christian Bale at one point and he buffed up for the role.

That hurts me just looking at it ^

Yea but Bales actual bone structure is much different. Even if Pearce got bang on the roids and pumped weights every day of the week he would still look too small. He's only about 5.6 ft tall aswell. In Memento he was proper ripped but he still looked tiny.

Pierce is just naturally skinny, i dont see him fitting the bill, even if he were to bulk up.

I agree hes no batman, but as the riddler I think he could do nicely. But... I think he looks to much like bale.

Really? I dont see it

And ye,s he would make a better riddler.

‘The Dark Knight’ Star Maggie Gyllenhaal Sets Eyes On Zombie Catwoman For ‘Batman 3’
Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2:03 pm.

Despite both “The Dark Knight” director Christopher Nolan and screenwriter David Goyer saying there’s been no significant movement on the highly-anticipated third installment of Warner Bros.’s “Batman” franchise – Goyer even adding that any and all rumors that’ve hit the ‘net are “B.S.” — it still doesn’t hurt to ask the film’s former cast about possible plans…even if said stars kinda-sorta died in the “The Dark Knight.”

Case in point, at a recent H&M fashion event, MTV News caught up with “Dark Knight” star Maggie Gyllenhaal and asked if she’d like to be onboard for “Batman 3” — despite the fact that her character, Rachel Dawes, met the business end of a warehouse full of explosives. Always a good sport, Gyllenhaal replied, “If they can work it out, I would be happy to be in another ‘Batman.’ If Chris Nolan is directing it, sure.”

Meanwhile, since it’s impossible to ask “Batman”-related questions without bringing up villains, Gyllenhaal was then asked, if she could play a villain in “Batman 3,” which would it be?

“I guess I would like to play Catwoman,” she replied. “But it seems unlikely at this point, right?”

Hmmmm.... A Zombie Catwoman? Sounds sorta cool. Marvel has their ZOMBIE universe, why not DC and...BATMAN?

Clive Owen or Benicio Del Toro for The Black Mask.

Oswald Cobblepot - James Woods
The Riddler - David Hyde Pierce
Dr. Thomas Elliot - Gary Sinise
Harvey Bullock (Should be a mild antagonist to Batman in his introduction) - James Gandolfini
