The Dark Knight Rises Casting Call (All Villains)

Okay, I know this is a really strange, left-field casting choice, but I thought it was quite interesting, so I decided to share it.

In another thread, I was discussing how cool I thought the interpretation of Croc was in this week's "Joker" hardcover comic. For those of you who haven't read it, Azzarello and Bermejo take Croc back to his roots, and portray him as an African-American man with a scale-like skin condition, as seen here:

Ving Rhames is the ultimate bad-ass. I would love to see him as Croc. I really like that portrayal of him aswell, as muscle who has a taste for human flesh.

Which he can actually do; they just give him all these roles that doesn't amount to his real potential in acting. Pretty much like Will Ferrel with the exception of Stranger Than Fiction; otherwise, same crap over and over again. I think he'd be a great Harvey if Chris and John Nolan put a good number on him and he gave it all he's capable of.

If that Det Stephens wasn't a version of Bullock and they actually cast Bullock then my choice is Ray Winstone.

Great actor, but maybe too much of a funnyman, I think I prefer a more serious approach to the character like what they did with Heath.

Bullock is a nothing role, and if he's included will be played by a nothing actor. The suggestions for Bulock are extremely over-qualified. At the same time, every other actress for Catwoman is under-qualified. Dont suggest better actors for Bulock than Catwoman.

Yeah, I read he was in the 2nd season of The Wire--and I saw that years ago, that's probably why I can't remember his face (and the 2nd season of The Wire haven't been released on dvd here yet )

I like the idea of Gandolfini as the penguin, I like the idea that for once the character could convey menace and not just be a litlle difformed gnome. They shouldn't even attempt to give him a prosthetic beak/nose, just explain the penguin connection in another way, he had a little penguin doll as a kid, his "rosebud"t:... one of his ancestor discovered the north pole... he loves that morgan freeman narrated movie, whatever.

I just really really reallllly want to see The Mad Hatter in a film. However, I cannot really think of a good candidate. I love almost every casting suggestion on this page. Since I don't feel like wading through all 115 pages of this thread, anyone have some believable Mad Hatter suggestions?
