I don't mean it like that. Some of his scenes in Dogma (where he plays a villain for once) just scream Joker to me. It's hard to put my finger on it but there is definitely something there, and not just looks, and he looks exactly like the more traditional Joker.

Yea as I was saying before he doesn't really have varying roles. But in Dogma he showed he has a dark side to him and of course he is a funny bastard. That holy bartender joke he does in Dogma is just pure Joker. To me it is anyway.

Yeah, I actually could see Jason Lee working as the Joker, but he would really have to step his game up.

Yea, the thing that made me think of him as Joker was his role in Dogma. Some of the things he says and does in that are just perfect for Joker. Especially the "holy bartender" joke he does.

For Catwoman or Ivy... My preference would be Catwoman, how about:

Vera Farmiga?

She kind of strikes me as what's being called around here, "a left-field chioce" for Catwoman who could wind up doing a pretty good job... At least judging from what I've seen of her so far.

I love Vera, shes a good actress, but shes no Catwoman. Shes more ''bland'' looking. She looks more like a rachel dawes type character. Or maybe a less attractive Vicki Vale.

I'd rather Catwoman be a believable and great character than absoluteliy gorgeous if we had to choose. If you want a great movie, look for a great actress, not a great model. The two can be together, but people around here don't seem to realize that you don't have to look the character to play the character.

On top of it all, make-up and movie magic can work wonders on an uggo. Vera hasn't been pretty at all in some movies, but she was very pretty in The Departed.

Yea but Catwoman is supposed to be the epitome of sexuality. Obviously the person who gets the role has to be a good actress, but looks are very important when casting Catwoman IMO.

Sorry but this is the dumbest thing Ive heard. It looks as if you are saying that if catwoman is played by a goregeoud actress, the character will suck. And no, they dont have to look exactly like the character, but looks are required. You cant have an unattractive chick as Catwoman, regardless of how good her acting is. If so, then thats not catwoman/selina kyle. There are many actresses out there that are both good looking and good in the acting apartment. And cut the movie akeup crap, please. The character needs a good looking chick, make up isnt gonna make an ugly girl suddenly hot. It odesnt work out that way, yes it can make them more attractive but it wont make them go from average/ unattractive to super hot. And I actually think Vera is very pretty, but not catwoman pretty. Vera is more of a motherly figure than the sexy woman selina should be.

Her eyes are nice, I agree with the rest though. Shes actually my choice for Gothams new DA Janice Porter.
