Well I know that but I'm still pushing Jolie as Selina since Catwoman role hasn't been cast yet.

Well, yes, all these choices are speculation (with the exception of Ledger, in which we are really left with no other choice), but I think after the little bombshell we had yesterday, I think we should start thinking more realistically in terms of who Nolan might choose.

I agree with most of American Idiot's cast except for Catwoman. I would choose either Catherine Zeta Jones, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman or Anne Hathaway. Either one of those I would choose. Patrick Stewart as Mr. Freeze, I would never imagine him playing that. But it could work. John Malkovich as Temple Fugate aka The Clock King is a very good choice. But so would Patrick Stewart.

I agree, though I do respect Portman and I love Anne Hathaway. Anne would be a good Poison Ivy IMO.

i couldn't see Anne as Poison Ivy either. i really couldn't see her in any role in the Batman universe, well...maybe just some girlfriend for Bruce, that's about it. Portman is possibly my favorite young actress working today. i've loved her for so long, such range and depth.

but they're wrong for Catwoman.
they're both just come across as younger girls trying to be an older and more mature woman. and while Portman has made a career out of playing innocent looking, but mature girls - Catwoman needs to be a femme fatale. she needs to look like she's straight from a noir film, someone older is needed.
