Damn... I hope they announce MOS 2 this Saturday during their event... It's the right place to start the buzz and excitement all over again... Biggest event there is for comic fans and movie goer. If not, WB failed and miss a big opportunity...
Even if they don't officially announce a sequel today, it is still likely. All that matters is that the announce the sequel date tomorrow.
Good for Dylan. He did a great job as young Clark. Hopefully we'll get a few flashback scenes in MOS 2 where we can see more interactions of him and Costner and Lane.
I really do hope we see more of the Kents and Smallville. And as Dylan gets older maybe we will see more of Clark in his late teens, throughout these movies.
We have already seen Clark in his late teens. That is what his age is during the Tornado scene.I really do hope we see more of the Kents and Smallville. And as Dylan gets older maybe we will see more of Clark in his late teens, throughout these movies.

Yeah, I'd also like to see how they handle the Clark/Lana storyline (if there is one in this universe).
[BLACKOUT]Johnathan's grave says 1951-1997[/BLACKOUT]. The film takes place in 2012 (Films like this always take place during the year of there intended release). Clark is 33 in MoS. So Clark is at most 18 during that scene.I thought in that scene he was already in college, around 20. Because in the set photos we saw he was wearing a University of Kansas shirt. And he is trying to figure out what to do with his life after high school.
I am talking more about when he is a senior in high school and, as said, exploring life in Smallville such as with Lana.
Regardless, I want to see more scenes with Clark and the Kents, before the death of Jonathan, obviously. As Clark is growing up.
Exactly.

You mean his middle teens? Because 18, 19 those are the late teens and we have seen that.Okay. I still want to see Clark in his late teens in high school.
Yep, it is a great bit of subtle acting.I loved how Cavill played with his voice in that scene. It was higher pitched and it was a subtle element that added to him playing a teen/young adult

Bluematic do you have another link to that video? That one is not playing.
Although I did like the movie a lot and praised it for being a good interpretation of what Superman nowadays should be more like(yes even right down to the action scenes), I did think one more flashback would be nice, maybe it's a part of me excited to see Cavill's Clark act like Tom Welling's Clark in the Tornado scene. I think there should be more scenes like this if they are going to explore Clark/Lana:
[YT]mMAnCgjeZ4Q[/YT](minus the Kryptonite, and power switching, maybe show Clark's the one who saves Lana, when she isn't looking?)
[YT]pwljAUhU3e0[/YT](I wouldn't mind seeing a version of this where Lana says something akin to "Man or Superman")
[YT]0TfO6V1s280[/YT](Just a general heart to heart moment between the two, maybe talk about destiny or something)
Anyone agree?
