How can one postpone something that has not been announced?
I'm beginning to wonder if Marvel has decided to postpone both BP and Capt. Marvel until Phase 4, after Avengers 3 finishes the run for RDJ, Hemsworth, and Evans.
So now, more than ever, I feel confident that Black Panther *is* happening, and they are just waiting until after Age of Ultron drops to announce it.
Andy Serkis from the AoU trailer is the *spitting image* of Panther's nemesis, Ulysses Klaw.

Why do you feel the need to be a pessamist?Also... doesn't Klaw kind of become a CGI creature, which is, among other things, right up Serkis' alley? They're making it really hard for me to be pessimistic on this one.
Still, they probably won't announce it until Comic Con 2015 if it's a Phase 3 film.
Why do you feel the need to be a pessamist?
Well, there's a lot of emotional investment there, as the vindication of black leads in action movies is kind of a big thing for me, and T'Challa is one of my favorite characters. So the disappointments from rumors and suspicions and hopes in the past were very frustrating. That's not something I want to go through again. Better not to get my hopes up.
Further, the idea that all of a sudden a Hollywood made black led international blockbuster movie will now burst on the scene no problem, from the guys who said they didn't know how to do Wakanda and that BP is too similar to Cap in persona... that sounds a wee bit too good to be true. Those things, afaik, haven't gone away.
It'd be different if a BP film was the inescapable conclusion of Klaw being in AoU, but for all we know, that and T'Challa himself could just factor into Cap 3 or Avengers 3. So a little pessimism seems to be in order, because for me "well, he'll get a solo in Phase 4" is kind of a heartbreaker.

Yeah, the comment didn't really mean much to me because things we "plan to do eventually" may never happen, and moreover belies a lack of priority, especially in combination with the fact that BP is only even mentioned by MS when someone directly asks about him, especially when this lack of priority and not knowing where to fit him in comes hand in hand with a vibranium armored enemy.
This is not to say they don't mean while, or that a BP movie *can't* happen in Phase III, but a quote where Kevin Feige says 'someday' indicates it's not an immediate project at that particular time.
IF the resemblance of Andy Serkis' character to Klaw isn't just a coincidence, then yes...it may not be long before we see T'Challa:

I empathize with your cautious pessimism, but I feel pretty confident that Black Panther is happening in Phase 3. Between the Ultron/vibranium stuff, the rumor of Cap forming a new team at the end of AoU, that one interview with Chadwick "Worst Poker-Face Ever" Boseman, and now, Andy Serkis sporting a look that would have him immediately pegged as a really good Ulysses Klaw cosplayer at Comic Con, I feel like this is definitely in development right now, and they're just keeping it under wraps for Ultron-related spoiler reasons.
Chris Evans didn't fit Cap for a lot of people. Similarly, Boseman seems like one of those picks that would grow on people.God I hope Boseman isn't BP. I like the guy as an actor but he just doesn't fit BP to me. I'd like Boyega or however you spell it to be BP over Boseman, or maybe Laz Alonso. All three guys are good actors though.
