Completely agreed, the Bond 25 director is a bit more essential right now.

I will say that I doubt it will be Tom Hardy or Idris Elba.

Die Another Day came out in 2002. Casino Royale came out 4 years later. Bond movies pretty much come out every three years now.

Are we counting Die Another Day as a Bond movie? I thought we all agreed... sometime in some made up situation i created for this... that it didn't exist.
You're such a pessimist, Reek.
Pessimist and realist are often confused.

I thought of Eric Bana.
If he needs to be a British actor, I think of David Tennant.

Some of the people on my Facebook, specifically one family, are idiots and blind when it comes to things like the Pairs attacks.

One post has a picture saying "Fight hateful ideology." and one of them replied "What does religion have to do with anything? She's around 27.

Her mother is worse. She's one of those morons that thinks every time someone talks about how religion can be harmful that it's always about her and christianity. So the entire family is having a field day with the Paris attack. :whatever:

Most of the family are ignorant of whats going on while the mother is blaming people for not following 'christian' beliefs which she she seems to make up on the fly to suit her.

Whenever I hear the name Eric Bana, I often think of him in a villainous role after Star Trek.

I'll just say this: I don't care about actors playing more than one superhero or famous characters, generally speaking. But Superman and Bond are both on whole other levels. They are roles that actors are defined by and turn them into household names forever. While IM certainly had fans in the comics world, nobody else gave a **** about him before RDJ, and Sherlock Holmes is like MacBeth - every Brit (and an American, apparently) is gonna take a crack at him eventually. Hell, we've had 4 different people playing him in the last 4 years alone.

He was one of the less memorable characters in that movie.
I still think of Banner whenever I see him.

That's a mess.
And that lady is insecure.

LOL, made me mentally picture Jason Statham as Sherlock Holmes. That would be the best awful thing thing ever. Elementary you sausage nigel!

exactly. you cant put Sherlock and Ironman in the Supes and Bond boat. if cavill played both and then played batman, he may as well rule the world.

Sawyer Approves.

Hulk...you fool.. Hu- never mind.

If Cavill gets the role of Bond it will be awesome, not the end of the world or doom & gloom. I'm also sure they'll work around his movie schedule too.

This post fell like a hammer on me head.

It could be better than expected, not necessarily awesomely awful, could be actually good.

I just felt the need to clarify my previously brief response, Aziz. Not tryin' to come at ya or anything.

Also, if they ever make "Sherlock Holmes: The White Martial Arts Version" (ala "The Musketeer"), you can bet they'll give Statham a call.

Aye, didn't take it that way.
And you're right, never really heard about a Sherlock movie earning $1 billion, or the equivalent of that before inflation in B.O earning.

Two MCU actors had a crack at Sherlock, at least I hope Cumberbatch sticks to Dr. Strange.

Isn't that what being a christian is all about?

He will always be the unluckiest man in Hollywood to me :o
