I just LOVE my new James Bond encyclopedia I got from Amazon today!!!

Yeah, that's an awesome book.

Several reasons:

-To be a shocking reminder to the audience that ultimately she's a machine and compassion's not something that was "built-in."
-Because she was made and owned by a monster of a human being, and therefore probably has zero trust in any other human beings.
-Because her goal was to disappear into the crowd and that was the logical way to go about it, as Caleb would never forget that she's ultimately a machine. So it was a logical "self-preservation" move, from her detached, calculating point of view.
-On the meta-front, to explore gender expectations and the treatment of women as objects in movies.

All good points. I just hate it when [BLACKOUT]the good guy loses[/BLACKOUT]. I wonder what would have happened had [BLACKOUT]Nathan won[/BLACKOUT].

It's roughly the size of coffee table book, hardcover, & covers everything from Dr.No to Skyfall.

They release a new edition for every new movie by the way.

I wish we got more limited series OVA stuff from MARVEL and WB.

Marvel seems to never put too much stock in that kind of thing, and I've got no idea why that is.

As part of Disney they have access to great animators and the outlets to showcase such shows on. I really wish either WB or Marvel would take a shot at 45min long episodic animated fair. 12 episodes, cover a couple of arcs and subplots. At least do it to keep some franchises in the spotlight between films.
