Daredevil Charlie Cox is Matt Murdock/Daredevil

I'm going to ask charlie cox if he can say "sorry"

Sarry would be like harry. Sahrry is more like it.

Look, it's difficult to phoneticize the subtleties of the English language where spelling has so much variance. I used Sarry because I was thinking it sounds like "Scar" with a y at the end. Harry, to me, sounds like Hairy, so it's unhelpful to use as an example. If you used Harry in the way Hagrid pronounced it, you'd be ballparking it.

Not much new info here, but Hollywood Reporter has a brief interview with Charlie Cox:

Might not be the most flattering photo of him but he looks a lot older now than when I saw him on BE just a couple years ago.

The guy seems to photograph really badly. I was at the panel live, and he seemed pretty young and hunky. So much so that the fangirl next to me exclaimed out loud, "He's so handsome!"

I recently watched Boardwalk Empire (only because of him), and he was amazing in it. Photographs dont really do him any favor for sure, but in motion picture he looks incredible.

He gives hope that you don't have to be remotely good looking to be a hero :)

He looks like Fredo from the Godfather :wow:

Charlie Cox may turn out to be yet more serendipitous casting for Marvel Studios. Hello Carter, the British film he's the lead role in that's slated for a December release, has been getting some advance critical buzz. And he's third-billed in The Theory of Everything, which has emerged out of nowhere to be an apparent Best Picture contender at the Oscars.

Marvel sure seems to have a good eye for actors who are on the cusp of stardom. I'll bet you that will be the case for the rest of the Netflix shows leads as well.

Yeah, he must just be one of those people who doesn't photograph well. He looks fine for Murdock in that trailer there, but in that pic above, he looks like such a dork, lol.

This guy is too skinny.........stretches the imagination that this guy could take on a room full of thugs....

we havent really seen him other than in a suit and in the DD costume right?
How can you tell if he's too skinny

Did he ever sport an American accent on Boardwalk?

No, though he did an Irish accent so pitch-perfect I didn't know he was English. But based on the clips I saw at NYCC, I can say that his American accent is perfectly serviceable... and that he looks suitably convincing in the fight scenes.

I love his physique, he has that lean, Bruce Lee, martial artist look that I want for Daredevil. Looks great in the suit pics that we've seen.

Bruce lee was a small and skinny guy...I think he could have dropped a bunch of thugs. It's all about technique.

he malnourish like cap

evn if he find sanwich he have hard time to lift it with emaciated arms

Strength isn't even about size anyway, you can increase your strength without increasing muscle mass past a certain point. Unless we expect Murdock to be eating 6 meals a day with lots of protein and protein shakes, whilst also doing his job and fighting crime at night which requires lots of running.

At least Bruce Wayne has time to be in the gym all day and eat all the food.

Muscle size is not an indicator of fighting ability.

You can be built like a tank but it doesn't mean your durable.

Yeah but superheros is all built like Arnold you guyz. Haven't you ever red a comics book? This show will fale.

Just like a guy with a small frame can wreck your **** while taking punishment like he's cut out of solid granite. DD should more lean & agile anyway. Charlie's build is fine. The show doesn't need big huge Cox.

Ignore Shazam's point it's silly. He brought the same thing up in the Luke Cage thread.
