Daredevil Charlie Cox is Matt Murdock/Daredevil

After watching those two trailers I'm convinced Charlie is gonna nail playing Matt. He just has that grit and charm that's required for Matt Murdock.

Yeah, I think he's gonna be an amazing Murdock. Can't wait to see his performance.

I watched stardust a few years ago, but i don'.t remember being impressed by him.

His work on BE is more indicative of how he'll do in this series. The ladies were driving the show in Stardust. He was basically the straight man there and it's hard to stand out as the straight man.

I'm not 100% convinced by this dude, but I'm excited.

Kingpin managed to jump off the screen in his scenes in the trailer. Hopefully this dude can keep up.

In a years time, I'm betting we'll see
"Get rid of, Affleck. Cast Charlie Cox as Batman" :o

He's a great actor. I'm sure he'll be fine.

Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms!

I'm sure this dude will be fine. I just hope it isn't one of those, "the show picks ups whenever Kingpin is on-screen" deals. Which is what happens a lot of times when the villain actor is so good.

Oh, I'm not worried at all. As a huge BE fan I knew he was a good fit the moment he was cast, so long as the writing and directing is good as well. And it looks like they are.
Of course this was also my reaction to Zod being played by Michael Shannon and we all know how that turned out. He was let down.

Man of Steel had its faults, but I don't think Michael Shannon's performance, working with the material he had, was one of them.

He did what he could and my issue with Zod was less with his performance and more with how he was written and what they gave Shannon to say. How many times do we have to hear Zod say 'I will find him!' anyway? Too bad because his being hired was one of the things that had given me hope for the film.

Zod in the previous Superman movies said Kneel Before Zod more times than Shannon said I Will Find Him.

Why isn't that ever an issue? :o

Okay guys, does every thread on this board need to turn into, "And Here's Another Reason Why We Hate Man of Steel"?

Well bruh TDK trilogy is getting older so we can't keep bringing Nolan up for no reason anymore. :o

HOW 'BOUT THAT CHARLIE COX, HUH?

I read a description of a panel at London Super Comic Con featuring some famous Daredevil artists, and they talked about visiting the set. They brought copies of Daredevil: End of Days for all the cast, but Charlie Cox took them to his trailer to show them he already had a copy.

Because he made it awesome every time he said it. And also he didn't say it 4-5 times in a row. Also 'Knee before Zod' is a better line than 'I will find him'. It's a catch phrase that is now immortal where as the other is just a throw away line.

He only said it in that one scene. It's not like it was a catchphrase, even if the marketing featured it a lot.

Anyway, it's really awesome how they said in that one review that this show has the best fight scenes of the year so far, even compared to movies. The great thing about characters like Daredevil and Batman is that you can bring in martial artists to do the crazy acrobatic stuff that the actors can't do, and no one can tell the difference (even if logic would have you thinking, "Okay, there's no way [insert famous actor here] can do that).

I am very happy with Cox's interpretation of the character. He definitely alphas everyone whenever he enters a room. He makes sure to let everyone know even if he's blind, he will not let anyone get one over on him.

Does sound like Cox is really good, can't wait to see Cox in action myself

I'm glad so many of the reviews are singling out Charlie Cox for praise. I'll admit, as much as I'm looking forward to Kingpin, I did worry a bit D'Onofrio would overshadow Cox. So I'm glad many are still holding up Matt Murdock as the standout and the most compelling character, as it should be.

I actually watched Stardust the other night just to see a little bit of what he's like as an actor and was pretty impressed can't wait to see what he does with DD

Charlie Cox was interviewed by IGN, and says he wants to be in Civil War, but hasn't got that call.

He also talks about how if he showed up he could appear in the background as "a flash of red," further confirmation (though we don't really need it by this stage) that he'll be in something resembling his iconic costume by season's end.

I'd enjoy Matt Murdock showing up in Civil War. It wouldn't even necessarily need to be as Daredevil out fighting with The Avengers. Even a cameo as Matt Murdock, offering Steve Rogers legal advice, would be fun.

Yeah my friends went to it. Cox said the way he practices his accents is by listening to religious podcasts. Which actually makes a lot of sense if you think about it.
