Daredevil Charlie Cox is Matt Murdock/Daredevil

You know one of the things I liked about Cox?

He knew how to keep his eyes when he was not wearing his mask/glasses. While Affleck went all derp eyes with his Daredevil

To be fair to Affleck, he was wearing contacts that actually obscured his vision.

Charlie Cox did a good job of just making me like him and care about him. Going back through and re-watching episodes, I find myself skipping some scenes just to get to his.

He's right up there for me with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. I just really like him in the role.

And he has such a soothing American accent .

Absolutely LOVED Charlie as Matty/Daredevil. Very happy with how that casting turned out. There were few minor parts here and there where it sounded like his accent was close to slipping, but on the whole I think he did an awesome job at the accent. Great physicality. Think I like him better with the stubble than I did with the clean shaven college/law school look (though it certainly did make him look younger - which is obviously what they were going for). He definitely inhabited the role. t: And I definitely prefer him over Affleck's version

Part of the reason I am not too happy with the red suit. He looked jacked in the black outfit. All the muscle definition got lost when he upgraded the suit.

^ Yeah, that's a great point. I think the new suit is overly padded. But the storyline reason of needing armor makes it difficult to keep it simple cloth.

I haven't tried, but I'll give it a shot. I'm curious to read something with Fisk to see if he's D'Onofrio.

That's probably a part of the reason too. So Charlie wont have to maintain that level of body fat except for the shirtless scenes which they could film early on.

Actually I think I've been reading Daredevil comics in Charlie Cox's voice for years. It's really what I think stands out the most in an overall stellar work on his part, amongst an incredibly solid ensemble as well. His voice work, wether it's the accent or the nuances, the menace or that cold and sharp as a knife tone he uses, is a real work of art.

Yeah, I've thought he was cute in the past, but he is ridiculously hot in this show.

Simply put, Charlie Cox had a great performance as Matt Murdock. Even with the few lapses with his accent, I still found him to be really likeable and gladly rooted for him as Daredevil.
