I don't know about the best ever, but it is pretty impressive in its effectiveness, given how minimal it is. I think it would've looked much cooler if Lion-O had some of his trademark armor over it, though.

well technically he wears it when he goes off for training so it does look like some sort of training gear.

the good thing about it is that the claw is worn on the back and he wears his sword there like a ninja would.

it's really impressive.

lion-o's original costume no longer works for me, so this one which is more like tigra's is more suiting in my eyes...

I remember. I read that mini-series. I wasn't a big fan of the claw being on his back, actually. The ninja look is all well and good, but the claw is a weapon itself and placing it on his back is just impractical and looks a bit silly to me.

it's a shame but i guess your input is fair.

he does still use it as a weapon though but i guess having it their would make it impractical to get to...

I don't mind seeing a remake or that redesign it's too horrible. I'm really getting sick of that anime style though, it's completely overdone and the concept of having it modern day earth is a really bad idea.

I really liked the old Thundercats cartoon, but I really dig that new design. Maybe a tad skinny, but at least he's got a better fashion sense than the original.

Honestly... if it's as good as Avatar or even Teen Titans, I'll probably watch it... this new liono looks a bit like Wily Kat, honestly... same feet at least.

As for present day... eh... I'm not impressed... It's just an easy copout so they won't have to think of cool things to happen on third earth, they can just do real life stuff turned up ten notches...
