Six week break?!! Dammit! So they bring back Young Justice and take Thundercats off for a long ass break? Damn you Cartoon Network! Damn you all to hell!:cmad: *pounds fist in the sand*
Well, it's not too bad if you actually like Young Justice. Me, I've now got nothing in the way of awesome cartoons because I think YJ is mediocre at best, Avengers probably won't be back for another couple months at the earliest, and now Thundercats is on a break for a month and a half. :csad:

I'll pull through. I just got my box sets of the entire Galaxy Rangers series, so I'll be more than satiated over the coming months.

I like YJ, but it's been gone so long that I'm not so high on it anymore. It's a good show, but nowhere near as great as Avengers. When that was off every week I would be looking all around the internet for answers like a crack head. At least I know it's going to be six weeks now. I would freeze myself for six weeks, but since it's football season I can't do that.:o

Awesome! I watched an episode last week. My brother and I used to fight because we both wanted to be Goose. I would end up being the commander so he had to listen to me, even though Goose had the cooler powers. hahaha

Btw, thank you to those that told me about Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. I really enjoyed it. The animation was fantastic and the story was great also.

I don't know anything about Owlman but man he was insane. Is he like the anti-Batman?

Also, what Batman knowingly did to the alternate Flash was pretty bad.

I'm glad Wonder Woman got her invisible jet. I don't know how she can fly around nowadays.

* Whoops, somehow my edit came out as two posts. Sorry about that.

Poor Doc Hartford. Never gets any love. :(

Yep, Owlman is the evil version of Batman.

Wonder Woman flies around now because she was given the ability to do so by Hermes, along with super-speed. Or she did in the post-Crisis universe. Not sure if that's the same in the new DC universe since they're currently relaunching everything.

Siby, I also want to agree with you that what Batman did to the alternate Flash was really bad and borderline murder. It was my main problem with the movie.

Now I can sort of justify what happened with Owlman because he gave Owlman a chance to escape but it did sort of walk a very fine line there.

However, I think it should've been changed where Batman was honest about what would happen if someone went in that vortex, it could mean certain death, but Jesse Quick would do it anyway.

Batman is a dark hero his imaginery code that he won't cross is an illusion. Batman would kill anyone and do anything if it's for the greater good.

I take issue with this stance on Batman, especially the Batman that is in the Justice League. If his code was imaginary and willing to kill for the greater good, as you assert, then I can't see how he can be part of the Justice League. Being a founder of the JL and having the penultimate goodie two shoes in Superman also as the founder, there has to be some goodness and sense of law in Batman to function with the other superheroes.

I was shocked that nobody did anything when Jesse Quick stopped vibrating and was aged several decades, especially given Quick's line that Batman knew what would happen.

Batman without a moral compass would undermine his character in his fight against the Joker and any other criminal. I understand that Batman is a dark, brooding, and complex character but to knowingly send an ally to his death by withholding information was akin to murder. Which is a lot different than killing somebody that is trying to kill everyone in existence.

Superman's probably killed more people than Batman. Batman was way more into the no-killing stance than Superman was post-Crisis. "Goody two-shoes" indeed. :oldrazz:

The reason why nobody said anything was because they weren't opposed to it. Flash is a hero and he would have gladly gave his life to save the countless lives who were in danger. Bats made the murder of Jesse Quick his cross to bare instead of seeing Flash kill himself.

Bats has a moral compass he is morally opposed to murder. However Batman will kill when his hand is forced.

When has he done that though exactly? Say in any of BTAS or JL/JLU or his comics post-crisis?

He killed Darkside,he killed this crook by throwing him in acid, not to mention the many "accidental deaths". Really, when does Batman do anything by accident.

So, what type of animal was the Duelist supposed to be anyway? He looks like a purple human...

I really liked the drifters little flashback. The house seemed cozy. Also the drifter kind of gave me the creeps in the beginning just floating around like that. The duelist reminded me of Satan.

Question....will Ma-Mutt be making an appearance in this series?

I agree YJ is very mediocre and this long pause hasn't done it any favours in my eyes. Not that bothered by it now to be honest.

Ok, I'm putting out a hit on the *****e at Cartoon Network who thought a 6 week break was a good Idea,:argh: 6 Oreo cookies to whoever pulls it off,:o one for each week the Cats aren't on the air!!!:ninja::oldrazz::D

Double stuff or regular? Cause I don't get out of bed for regular oreos.
