Alright I've been questioning Chloe's future for awhile now.

As I've stated before she's probably my least favorite character on the show right now, and if someone were to get killed off I hope its her.

Now with that said if they don't kill her off this is what I see happening to her. Chloe is Smallville's version of Bab's, basically Oracle. So I basically see her doing something stupid and getting paralyzed and having to get around in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

What do you think is gonna happen to her?

I think she's still Brainiac. That's why Brainiac hates Superman to this day in the comics. He got trapped in a girl's body.

I hope that Brainiac is dead in her, 'til Zod finds out... that would really make for a cool story

I have liked the chloe character through the course of the series. Sure at times i thought some things were stupid they did with her. Just like most characters on the show has gone through stupid changes/storylines and all that. Now as for allison we still dont know if she would resign for a 10th year if the show does get 10th season. Now if it does and she doesnt renew i would be a little sad. But personally i rather her not die and just leave, so then it leaves it open for allison to return for a guest spot at the series finale. Now if she was to be killed i would be a little pissed, cause fans been thinking that was going to happen for her. Since she was a show created character.

As much as I hate Chloe, I think it would be stupid for Allison not to sign on for a 10th season should there be one. It's just one more season and it will be the last of the series. What's another 22 episodes? She's come this far. Might as well see it to the end...

Totally unless she still does want to leave this year and move off to other projects and interests. But yea if i knew show was confirmed for one more year, wouldnt you want to stay for another year, where you would have job sercuity for another year. So then it could give you more time to line things up.

I don't want her to die but I'm not going to cry if Chloe just leaves and the end of the season. I guess a good portion of my resentment toward the character stems from her maniacal fanbase that are convinced the show is about her. I actually liked her in Crossfire, I wish they could just leave her like that.

true, part of my hatred for her is due to the fanbase (which isn't really fair to the character). But I think they way they've written Chloe in the past is reason enough to dislike her. She was okay in the first 2 seasons (albeit annoying with pop culture references). I started to really dislike her during season 3 and then from season 4-7 was okay but still annoying. The way they wrote her from season 8 onwards, I really hate it. If she could ease up on her control issues and constant lecturing to Clark, then I wouldn't mind her so much.

Yeah I shouldn't look at it that way but her fans really piss me off, as far as I'm concerned they are fortunate she is even still on the show at this point. As for her character, I hope to god they don't just gloss over the crap she is doing, there should be consequences.

I can't help but thinking she is going to cross the line (further than she already has), it will somehow involve Lois and Clark will finally snap on her. Regardless of the circumstances I hope she actually has to face the music for this crap.

yup, me too. I think it will come to the point where she has an intervention from the Justice League and Clark. I think she will either change her methods and become a valued member of the League (who doesn't resort to underhanded things for the "greater good") or she realizes this hero life is too much and she moves away from Smallville/Metropolis for a normal life.

I had no issue with the character the first 4 seasons myself. Once Clark told her the secret though, they shoehorned her into the storylines to much(many times at the expense of Clark just to please the shipper fanbase of hers it seems).

I actually thought Season 8 Chloe was slightly better then S5-7 Chloe because at least she didn't step all over Clark as much, but her Davis storyline for a lack of a better word sucked and was a waste of screentime.

As for Chloe I am guessing when push comes to shove and Allison sees a nice steady paycheck compared to doing a bunch of indy films, Allison will come back for 1 more season. I just hope the show doesn't have her die off "sacrificing" herself for Clark, just give her a happy good ending(that doesn't get Clark depressed) please

Totally they can easily just make her be the tech gal for jl or she decides she doesnt want to be in the life style of saving the world with jlers day in and day out and wants some sort of normal life and just gets away from it all. Heck yea as i said myself i have been a fan of her character since the show has started. But i am not crazy like some of her fans are. Sure at a point in the past i would have liked to see chloe and clark to had some sort of romantic relationship but i am not mad they didnt.

But i am not crazy like some of her fans are.

From my experience, most crazy Chloe fans talk like Chloe is "ILL" as if it was show canon and fact. Ones that can grasp she isn't(even ones that can say hey I think it's a good idea but it's not going to happen) aren't part of that subgroup.

On the subject of that theory, I would love to see Chloe decide to move to Gotham and change her name to Vicky Vale, just for a good laugh

or have a sex change, inherit billions of dollars, and change her name to bruce wayne...

I think they should turn Chloe into POWER GIRL. Sure, it deviates from the comics, but I have always thought she kind of looked like a young Power Girl. PLUS! --- She is the voice of Power Girl in the Superman/Batman: Public Enemies cartoon, so I can't be the only one who thinks that she looks like her :)

DC would probably never allow them to do that. Sure the show is able to do its own twists on certain things, but they still have to get final say from DC on other things.

Maybe after Pam Grier's arc as Waller she will leave as a DEO agent.

She needs to ditch the hero idea and move to another city for a normal life...hero gig is not for her and you can see it.

Well we will just have to wait and see where chloe's future lays.

She no longer fits into the Superman family. Superman would never approve of her "big brother methods". I mean if Clark knew what she did to get Ollie back into the game he wouldnt be too happy with her. He wasnt happy that she bugged his house (her response that she bugged it when he left, yet had not taken the stuff out weeks after he returned.)

I see her acting more like a member of the Batman family. I mean Bats would do something like this, as well as maybe Babs. If she moved anywhere I see it being Gotham. However I'd really hate to see this happen.

I'd much rather see her give this whole life up, and move somewhere where there are no meta problems. She is not fit for this life neither will she ever be.

Yea i would see it in her character after all these years of zany metahuman problems and near death things, she would want to get away from it all in the end.

see here's the thing. I like Chloe now. I find her much more useful, and entertaining than in the first 5 seasons (where she was the jealouse cow over Clark and Lana, constantly guilt tripping).

I still hope she is brainiac... and I would have loved to have seen her tell Jor'el that the BIC had possessed her body etc.
