The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Chris Cooper IS Norman Osborn

Does that mean Rhys didn't lie about Massee's character, or that Massee was supposed to be Norman but got replaced? Hmm...

It could be a Moriarty situation in Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes films.

That reminds me of the days when the rumor was that Brad Pitt was going to play Moriarty.

Precisely.

But IS he going to be Norman? Or perhaps J.J. Jameson, or someone else...?

You really can't have Harry without Norman in the movie. *shrug* Is Giamatti confirmed even as the Rhino? Didn't think we got any REAL followup.

I try to never assume anything is confirmed until an official press release.

I'll be waiting to hear.

God, new costume one day, now Cooper's on board; all we need is set photos of Foxx in costume and confirmation on Cooper and I'll be crazy-go-happy. :hrt:

I really think this confirms Feore as Adrian Toomes. Why? Because check out the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #2 Marc Webb loves paying homage to the fans and this would be a really cool way of doing that.

Oh well, he is an incredible actor, so I don't have a big complaint, only at the end of TASM, Michael Masse sounded very menacing as the "man in the shadows"

Maybe Feore is the Terrible Tinkerer. I bet you didn't even consider that option.

Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn?! :wow:

So cool. :awesome:

Cooper was actually Nolan's first choice to play Jim Gordon in Batman Begins. Good to finally see him join the genre, in another iconic role.

Sounds interesting. I want to see how this develops.

Things are not looking so good for Gwen Stacy though. lol

As much as Oldman totally OWNS that role, I have to admit Cooper as Gordon would have rocked too.

Believe it or not I would love that. If they used him in a Sleeping Dogs way where he's hired by Osborn to stalk Spider-Man and he figures out who Peter is. Then BOOM. Norman kills him the tinkerer as soon as he's done with him. Or has his memory wiped. Killing him would make a bigger impact though.
In what way though?

You wrote the entire link. Just write the stuff after the v=

What in what way?:oldrazz:

Cooper is so great in American Beauty.

Crantson on that one. I would have relished the idea of Day-Lewis or Viggo Mortensen as Ra's Al Ghul if they didn't pass it up.

It would all be worth it just for one scene where Spidey mocks his name and calls him the Terrible Tinkler.

Massee and DeHaan look virtually identical, but Hollywood is about casting big names and recognizable faces, and so I welcome Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin. He can play cold and menacing, and I can just picture his voice in my head as GG. Something high-pitched and sinister.

Webb, you're impressing me.
