I personally felt like watching their scenes was a constant struggle.

Watanabe your Engrish is terrible. :down :o

:hehe:

Off topic question hut having seen Rush Hour 2 yesterday , i was wondering if there are asian actors who have the acting chops like Watanabe and can speak english but not with with an american accent.

The whole Cobb/Saito relationship was really weird. Like the whole "so we can be young men together" thing. The line insinuates that the two were actually close friends, but Saito was just a guy that gave Cobb a job. I didn't even get the sense that they liked each other.
i hear ya
but i think they're relationship kinda grew throughout the film, i thought it was cool at the end how they both forgot about everything but it was that one line you mentioned that helped them break out of limbo

Cobb just really needed him to come back with him so he could get his life back, so if that meant acting like his best buddy in the world, I'm sure he'd do it lol.

Are we still using spoilers by the way? Doesn't seem like, I just don't want to get in trouble lol

Please do so
The movie hasn't opened in alot of markets yet (it'll open tommorow here in holland) and i'd prefer not to be spoiled completely.

Mods if the spoilers tags are becoming too much of a clutter why not create a Inception spoiler thread for now and when the movie has opened in the majority of the markets merge it with this one.

it worked pretty good so far with the spoilers. dont think another thread is necessary..i would recommend to avoid this thread..

I wouldnt even come in here before the flick. I went in, only watching the trailers.

if the ending was real, then Cobb really did pull off the perfect crime

Spolier tags until the weekend is over guys, I would advise anyone who has not seen it to keep out of this thread though, I am doing my best as are most posters but things may slip through.

I saw it last night and its been a while since a movie has commanded my attention like this. every line, every action scene, every subtle moment had my eyes glued to the screen and I didnt even want to look away to drink my soda.

Heres what made this movie great:

Acting - I cant point out a single bad performance in the movie, even michael caine who had the least screen time still managed to draw me in.
I love this ensemble cast nolan has orchestrated and everyone just feeds off the other with such delight. Did I mention the dialogue was great?

Story - there is no way to talk about the story without giving away major ploints so I wont. But I will say the story was a breath of fresh air and something original that hollywood has been sorely missing. I salute chris nolan for making such an ambitious story and I can only imagine how hard it was to pitch such an idea to a studio.

Here is what made the movie loose one point:

Action - Some action scenes suffer a tad bit from the shot being to close to see what is going on and then some shots were amazing because we got to see everything going on. If I had to critique Nolan it would be his ability to shoot action, He hasnt quite got it down with the fast edit cuts and transitions between people shooting back and forth. I will however give him a standing ovation for one fight in particular that involved a certain hallway zero G battle.

Did you guys hear about that Armond White radio interview where he buried Inception and said that he prefers Michael Bay and ROTF? Then, when asked if he likes any other critics he replied that he doesnt, and that he is "the only one trained and certified" for the job.

The guy is a professional troll!

I'm listening to his blathering, and he's likening Inception to not only a video game movie, but a video game itself.

Some funny pics from 4chan's movie board:

I love "the mark" one with Mark Wallberg! The first one is Armond White btw. Oh and i really think that Bale should have had a cameo in Inception. It would have been amazing!

Im listening to it now, its pretty ammusing but I do wish they carried on with an "actual" Inception Review containing the spoilers of the movie. We get what Armond White is trying to do. Lets not give him the popularity.

Where? Do you have a link?

Also: "Yo dawg, we heard you like dreams, so we put a dream in your dream, so that you can dream while you dream!"

This was a joke to make fun of him right? Like a radio skit?

Please tell me it's a joke...:csad::doh:

Wow, that guy is a *****e.

This movie is pretty much PERFECT in my eyes. I didn't think Nolan would top Memento but he did with this film. I loved every second.

IMO it didn't top Momento. The movie is bigger in scope in that it had bigger budget, effects, but Momento is perfect because of it's simplicity.

The movie is perfect in almost every way, I just wish Nolan would shy away from the action, because he doesnt' do action scenes very well. The best moments in Momento are the character moments.
