Cinemax's Banshee.

Hopefully it means less talking and more ridiculous violence!

*fight happens*

Brock: Hood!

*more violence happens*

Brock: HOOD!

*even more violence occurs*

*Brock finally thinks to stop calling his name so damn loud.*

sorry if this has been answered but is there a reason Hoods hand never heals? Always bandaged since like season 1?

It was bandaged since Season 2. When he had the fight at the Kinaho Casino.

I think that Hood still has the hand wrap as a character look. I think that Anthony Starr had surgery on his hand, and I'm betting that he had to film some scenes with the bandage on. The producers probably saw it and thought that it made him look a little unique.

That's funny, I never even really noticed. I just figured Hood gets hurt so often it doesn't seem unusual for him to have some sort of bandage at any given time.

I agree. Just figured the man walks into fights almost daily so he's constantly got his hand(s) bandaged.

Matthew Rauch Upped To Regular On ‘Banshee'; Casey LaBow Joins Cast
by Denise Petski March 18, 2015 2:03pm

Longtime recurring Matthew Rauch has been promoted to regular for the upcoming fourth season of Cinemax’s drama series Banshee. Rauch first appeared as Clay Burton in the January 2013 pilot and recurred in the role some two dozen times over the course of the first three seasons. He’ll now continue as Clay as a series regular. Described as quiet, but deadly, Clay is Kai Proctor’s multifaceted and deeply complicated bodyguard and right-hand man. Also joining the cast as a recurring is Casey LaBow (The Twilight Saga; Breaking Dawn, Parts 1 and 2). She will play Maggie, wife to a local leader of the Aryan Brotherhood, who desperately wants a better life for her and her son. LaBow is repped by Vanguard Management.

I always felt that Burton was a regular anyway. Maybe this means that he's going to be killing some more people in every episode next season. I wish we could have gotten Burton vs. Chayton or Terminator Stowe, but he's definitely looking like he's going to beat up some more people next year.

I always figured him for a regular too...who knew!

You just know Hood is going to sleep with the wife of that Aryan dude.

Getting Job back is probably going to be the "heist" of Season 4. Hood probably won't be too involved with the Brotherhood plot. If anyone is going to sleep with the wife I assume it would be Kurt. Since it's his brother who's the Brotherhood leader.

Oh Hood will get involved, whether he was wants to or not. Hood's the kind of character all trouble is drawn to.

Either way I don't think he's sleeping with the wife. lol

I'm not a gambling man, but I'd take that bet.

Ana Ayora Books ‘Banshee’ Role

Ana Ayora (The Big Wedding, Chop Shop) has booked a season-long arc on Season 4 of Cinemax’s Banshee. The drama series from Alan Ball centers on Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, PA, where he continues his criminal pursuits while enforcing his own code of justice. Ayora will play Nina Cruz, a smart, tough, streetwise deputy for the Banshee Sheriff’s Department who really is an inside plant working for Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen). Skilled with lethal fighting techniques and a killer instinct, she is a perfect blunt instrument for carrying out Proctor’s more nefarious and violent errands. Repped by Innovative Artists and Main Title Entertainment, Ayora next will be seen in Ride Along 2.

Nina Cruz is going to die. Shocking, I know.

Not before Hood sleeps with her.

I wish the Sheriff's deputies in my town looked like Ana Ayora. Good Lord!

Eliza Dushku Joins Cinemax’s ‘Banshee’
by Erik Pedersen April 6, 2015 10:41am

The Cinemax drama has been busy ramping up its cast lately, and now comes word that Eliza Dushku is joining Banshee. The drama series from Alan Ball centers on Lucas Hood (Antony Starr), an ex-con and master thief who assumes the identity of the sheriff of Banshee, PA, where he continues his criminal pursuits while enforcing his own code of justice. Dushku will recur as Agent Veronica Dawson, a tough, sexy and shockingly reckless FBI profiler with no shortage of personal demons who joins forces with Hood to hunt down a killer.

Lilith and Declan Bode, a married couple with a dark secret will be recurring from midway through the season. On the surface she is a happy, good-natured wife to a regular hipster - albeit one who has had horns implanted in his skull. In private, however, Declan's magnetic charm holds sway over his followers and wife as they indulge in satanic worship, kidnap and ritual sex crimes with their victims.
  • What effect does Gordon's death have on Carrie? Does she blame Lucas?
Yaitanes: Without giving away too much, it'll definitely ripple into our plans for Season 4, how this affects Carrie. It affects the whole family. When we return to Banshee in Season 4, the Hopewell family isn't as we know it now.

The team suffered another loss when Job was taken. How does that impact Lucas?
Yaitanes: You see how heavily it weighs on him at the end of the episode, and it's something that will be part of our narrative for Season 4. We have to get Job.

    Lucas' resignation will stick?
Yaitanes: Absolutely. Lucas is not the sheriff of Banshee. That was legitimate. After a lot of fakeouts with giving up the badge, this is going to stick. We don't want to leave a story on the table, and we go into every season like it's our last. Fortunately, it's not, but we wanted to tell the natural end of the basic premise of the show and also keep people wondering where the show's going to go. As someone who's read the first three episodes of Season 4, I can tell you that the first 10 minutes of Season 4 will have jaws on the floor.

Any final teases for what we can expect next season?
Yaitanes: I think you're going to see more of an ensemble next year. The show was always conceived to be an ensemble with Lucas Hood heading up that ensemble, and yet I never felt like the show had a lead actor. I felt like it was the kind of show that different story lines can emerge in the foreground much the way you've seen with Brock coming to the foreground this year. I feel that where the show's going will be an even richer, complex, interwoven ensemble, which is something that we really took to this year. It'll be everything that people take from the show, but you're going see a completely unexpected season that will leave people guessing as to where we're going with it, especially after the first 10 minutes.
