I have my reservations on that one, but i won't completely doubt him, i've been proven wrong before. but he really really doesn't seem to have any physical quality of Larten Crepsley. Larten is an old, creepy man while reilly...he just makes you smile

Well, I do have trust in the Weitz brothers. They have the ability to pull really unexpected performances out of people, for what it's worth.

They say this is supposed to come out in February but you'd think they would have already started some early promotion by now .

I saw the movie last September, not that good. It was actually pretty boring.

The two lead kids are very dull. Next Harry Potter this will not be.

When adapting a book into a movie, I don't understand the name changes. I really really don't.

I think the idea is that the kid, I forget his name, the main kid lives in the cirque and everyone there is a freak, so he thought she was normal then he asks her, and she says she's a monkey girl.

The movie really tries to push hard like you know messages of tolerance and what not, how the freaks are outcasts and the cirque is like their sanctuary and what not.

Well I guess if they are going to merge the books ( still confused by that) they are going to make drastic changes.

in the books, he met her in the 3rd one i think, and she was a normal human girl. then he meets her in later books when she is an adult and he still tries to be with her but he still looks like a teenager even though he is actually older than her

From what I've read, this Cirque Du Freak and The Vampire's Assistant put together with some elements from the third book as well.

What's his name kills Murlaugh at the end of the movie. Murlaugh is played by Ray Stevenson. The main kid's best friend also becomes a vampineze like half-way in.

I really loved the Debbie and Darren relationship. This news makes me sad.

I don't think anybody cares about this movie anymore. However this is going to be a Major Bump brining some news. Supposly this Movie was suppose to come out in January 2010. Well it has now been pushed up to October 23, 2009

At first I thought it was a cool version using a similar premise to Something Wicked this Way Comes then it turned into Spider-Man. WTF?
