I'd hit that.
with a brick.
I'd hit that.
I'm not sure what you're getting at. The original is technically outdated in every possible way. Any sort of remake should take advantage of the advances in modern cinema. Why, they didn't do that in the original film either?
Eh, it looks like -- *prepares for backlash* -- a cgi-render from a videogame to me.Medusa looks amazing.

I think that people are starting to see through those kinds of trailers, though.I think audiences being a bit more fickle these days plays into that though to be fair. With state of the art computer games and obviously the immense advances in CGI big budget films like this have gotta show a lot of money shots and some of the best bits of the film to really impress people you know?

Yes, but the eyes tend to be more critical of anything remotely resembling a human. Which is probably why out of all the "creatures" featured in the trailer, Medusa just stood out for me.Every other monster in the thing is CG, so it's pretty much not gonna be consistently good.
Umm, Medusa's eyes aren't supposed to be too humanly.Yes, but the eyes tend to be more critical of anything remotely resembling a human. Which is probably why out of all the "creatures" featured in the trailer, Medusa just stood out for me.

A Super model was used as a model for Medusa's Face. Can't remember what her name is at the moment.Honestly folks, are we going to play this game? You do not have to be human to look like a humanoid or have human features. Are we going to deny that Medusa does not resemble a woman, albeit deformed?
Yes, I know. I'm simply stating that the 100% cgi route they took seemed ineffective. When it comes to anything resembling a human, the eye can immediately distinguish it's authenticity as an effect.A Super model was used as a model for Medusa's Face. Can't remember what her name is at the moment.

I just saw the trailer, and the vibe it gave me was, "Wow, a billion separate edits of what looks like 5 action set pieces and not a single lingering character moment. This movie's gonna suck."![]()
anyone know the name of the song in the trailer?
