I do think that filming is being rushed because I remember reading a Sam Worthington interview which said that the filming process is extremely quick and that he has battled most of the big creatures already.

I think that Warner Brothers might delay the film and move it to early April.

We’ve done two weeks…We took on the Medusa. We’ve took on the witches. Next week we’ve got to take on the Scorpius and then we go and *****ing kill the Kraken. So, you know, at the moment it’s all guns blaring kind of thing. It’s going to be good. I think Louis has got a very good eye and there’s a great bunch of people I’m working with.

Seems that they're doing exactly as we speculated. Filming the big VFX heavy scenes first.

i will say again. the armor looks fantastic. i have faith that there will be some good actions shots. an epic movie.
but the hair is just wrong.

I can't help it... but I just keep thinking that Sam Worthington starring in a remake of a Harry Hamlin movie sounds like a recipe for fail.

I also think it would have been better if they had the actor who is playing Perseus a greek character have a full head of hair, shaved head just doesn't make sense other than to make him look more tough I guess like a more modern militant.

I think from the look and more importantly the color of what he's wearing this movie is going to be very video gameish. That's just my guess though. I don't know, the mix of a clean looking green tunic as well as his shin gards also appear green unless that's just reflection on bright silver plus purple/blue just gives me the hint this film is going to be very loud and in your face pretty much exact opposite of the original.

I'll admit that in "behind the scenes" photos it does seem a little off. The first two official production stills, however, do make him more justice.

But here he has already transformed...transformed into Calibos.

If that's Calibos, I assume it's a transformation in progress. The 1981 Calibos was also kind of half-demon with regards to his one goat leg, but he still looked 100% demon in the face...

I certainly hope that's midtransformation because if that's full fledged Calibos, then color me disappointed.

..but you see, it might not even be Calibos. At imdb, Flemyng is only credited as Acrisius, King of Argos. Zeus punishes him with deformity for casting Danae and Perseus off into the sea in the casket. Might be a substitute for Calibos.

In addition, Calibos will follow Hades' orders.

I see. Still, going back to The Lizard and guitarsingerguy's posts, I actually think this is "the look". It has been said by both Leterrier and Worthington that they are basically going for a more distinct, and a more realistic(relatively) feel to the film. I think this makeup reflects that very well.

Me too. The original Calibos still gives me the chills.

The look of both Medusa and The Kraken is gonna make or break this movie for me.

The part where the Hulks hand came out of the ground after Banner fell out of the plane. It look like clay-mation. In fact,with the exception of the bottle plant scene, most of the shots of Hulk looked like he was clay-mation rather than cg. The cg company they used (and i'm sure Louis will use them again for Clash) do a terrible job of rendering.

So you are damning animatronics due to bad cgi work...?!?!?! I don't think there was any practical Hulk effects in TIH, maybe there should have been.
