Is that a clip of the actual fight with Medusa?

From what I can gather [BLACKOUT]Andromeda leads humanity in a war against the Gods, who have brought great destruction to Earth with their war games between eachother. The Gods' main weapon is the Kraken, so, a team, that includes Draco, Io and Acrisius, is formed to find Medusa, kill her and use her head to destroy the Kraken. They ask Perseus, son of Zeus, to help them, but Perseus refuses. Then, his family is murdered and he believes Zeus is guilty. He accepts to help them. Zeus gets angry, sends monsters to stop them and demands Andromeda as a sacrifice to the Kraken. Hades is secretly manipulating everything so he can destroy Zeus, conquer thw Olympus and bring Hell on Earth. Acrisius is one of his agents. Ass-kicking ensues.[/BLACKOUT]

It's mainly assumption, based on the pictures and trailers.

And yes, it's either Zeus or Hades who sends the monsters.

Anyway, months before somebody wrote on IMDb that he had read the script. And he said that
Apollo had a big part in the film and Calibos/Acrisius was following Hades's orders. So, as you said he is a kind of agent.

Yeah. And I tell you more: [BLACKOUT]He joined Hades because it was Zeus who turned him into a monster.[/BLACKOUT]

Looks awesome! Perseus going all out at Medusa with his eyes closed. Medusa looks awesome and seeing as the watermark on the image says it has been scanned I am thinking that maybe the next Empire magazine or a similar magazine is gonna have Clash of the Titans as the main feature.

Does anyone know if there are other monsters in this film because I am thinking we have seen what all of them look like in trailers and pics right?

Not the final draft. But I've seem material of the early drafts and some small Spoilers. [BLACKOUT]In this version, Acrisius is Danae's (Perseus's mother) husband and Zeus turns him into a beast because he threw the pregnant Danae at the sea. He probably joins Andromeda's gang to get revenge on Zeus, but he's actually following Hades's orders.[/BLACKOUT]

There are: the Kraken, Medusa, the Harpies, the Djinn warriors, the giant scorpions, the Stygian Witches, Bubo the owl, Pegasus, Acrisius/Calibos, Peshet the half-cat half human creature, Charon the ferryman...and who knows what else.

If they kept most of Kasdan's script then we could see other creatures such as Sylphs, Lotophagi, Strix, Minotaurs, Centaurs, Nephilim, Anubite Jackals, Hyena Men...because they are in Kasdan's early script.

there is a reason. artistic decision. he thought that black is better. its hes movie so he can make him black. no one will complain. or almost no one.

well this "he" can do whatever he wants; it doesn't change my opinion that the "artistic" change is largely irrelevant and ridiculous.

Whoa, awesome picture! I just hope Perseus with his eyes closed doesn't come off as hokey.

I like the original COTT, where Perseus used Athena's shield to help slay Medusa. I'm not sure if I'd like Perseus just charge in with eyes closed and slash blindly, but I'll reserve judgement until I see the movie.

In the trailer is that a statue of Poseidon falling into the water or the Colossus of Rhodes?

Awesome.

Medusa is the mythical creature I'm anticipating the most. She creeped the hell out of me in the original movie as a kid.
we were all kids when we saw medusa back then. now we are older and adults. so she will not creep us out anymore.

of course some will say that its because of CGI and that claymation is better.

I thought the statue had a lightning bolt. And I thought the Colossus stood on a port.

Not really sure what it was holding but yeah it did stand on a port. Movies have a way of changing things though, I just didn't know cause the part went by so quick.
