we were all kids when we saw medusa back then. now we are older and adults. so she will not creep us out anymore.

Says you. You're never too old to get creeped out. Even by a monster woman with snake hair :cwink:

About the statue... it's clearly supposed to be Zeus, what with the thunderbolt and all. This, and the place on some random cliffs, makes it unlikely that it is the Colossus of Rhodes, as the Colossus was a statue of Helios, not Zeus, and was located by the harbor of Rhodes.

I'm looking forward to this. Might make me forget the badness of The Lightning Thief.

A little video I thought would be fun for those anticipating both "Clash of the Titans" and "Toy Story 3":

Liam Neeson as Zeus. How can that fail?

This will also be the time to properly judge Sam Worthington's lead pedigree.

That was probably the exact sentiment expressed by someone about Peter O'toole and Brian Cox before walking into Troy.
:hehe:
What are you saying? :woot:

I thought Priam & Agamemnon were fine. But then I think I liked Troy more than the average person did.

I loved the directors cut, and thought the film had great casting, though the movie annoys me some times with a few of its changes from The Iliad.

Funny you say that. I only just watched the director's cut for the 1st time last night. Definite improvement!

Why is Pegasus black in this film? From what I remember Pegasus was never given a color just the winged horse.... but why not stay true to the original film?

I think its because Hercules Winged horse in Disney's adaptation was White and know doesn't have any baring on this but think wanted to make Perseus a rebel compared to golden boy Hercules so give him s Black Pegasus.

Who plays Hera, Poseiden and Athena does anyone know who play the other Gods and Goddess for there were 12.

I believe that in the classic mythology, Pegasus was red, not white.

I was wondering who the women was in the box they drop into the water. This may have been asked before. If it was Perseus mother then it must been so looks like Zeus had her killed.

I think it be cool to see Hades ride the Lightning Bolt the hard way back to the underworld for if anything we know Zeus has a vengeful nature.

Seeing Diane Kruger's boobs definately was an improvement :wow:
Orlando's butt.....on the other hand :csad:
