I'm loving black Pegasus.

There is a herd of winged horses in the film called the Pegasi but Pegasus is the only one which is black. And the reason it is black is because Leterrier wanted Pegasus to be black, it is as simple as that. An artistic choice and Leterrier says "black looks cool".

Damn! Damn! Damn to the third power! I don't want to like this movie, but I may end up liking it and it shames my old school thinking. I just got through seeing the original movie, since I hadn't seen it in years. I'll tell you one thing. PG rated films got away with a lot more s*** thirty years ago. Bare boobies and booties in the original and I'll bet dollars to doughnuts there won't be so much as a nip slip in this new version of Titans. It takes the "t**" outta titans, man. Not fair. Anyway, there's something to be said about Ray Harryhausen's genius work on the original. All the CGI in the world can't trump the charm Harryhausen brought to the original, period. But, I accept the fact that Titans '10 is made as a faster, sleeker version of the '81 version and the more I see the new version, the more I start liking it and I DON'T WANT TO!!

Set Magazine, a big brazillian movie magazine, revealed an interesting tidbit about Clash of the Titans in its last edition:

The group Perseus leads in movie is not brought together by Andromeda, but by Zeus, in order to defeat Hades, that, in control of the Kraken, might have the advantage to turn the war between the Gods to his favor.

From the trailer and some other comments I had the impression that

Andromeda spoke out about humans not needing the gods, which angered Zeus, and that was why she was to be sacrificed, but now it seems Zeus WANTS Perseus to defeat the Kraken. Or has Zeus just arranged all of that to get Perseus to serve as his pawn in his power struggle with Hades?

Anyone have any idea?

Hades creates the Kraken from part of his flesh to attack the other Gods with it. Zeus brings together a team, led by Perseus, angered because his family was murdered by Hades, to find the Medusa, whose stare is the only thing that can kill the Kraken. Hades finds out about this, sends monsters after the team, orders his mole, Acrisius, to slown them down and demands Andromeda's sacrifice in exchange for her land's freedom ("Turn them on eachother"). Off course he's lying and is going to destroy them anyway...

The Arabic genies thing is kind of weird but interesting and I love the fact they kept in the two-headed dog/wolf thing from the original which sort of guarded Medusa's cave.

I wonder if there will be any scenes in Hades and if so, I hope they show Cerberus.

In the original Greek mythology, Hades helped Perseus out in his mission by loaning him his Helm of Darkness. I guess if that the rumor is true, Hades won't help Perseus at all in the remake.
