Comics Clone saga in it's entirety

Is this for real?

Cos if it is, allow me to....

FREAK OWT LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW!

Like I said, I'm still working on it, it should be done within the next 2-3 months.

Sounds cool, but I'm not sure its legal. Sorry to be a downer, but there may be some copyright issues here. We used to have a Carnage appreciation thread and some poster tried to post the entire Maximum Carnage story. I think Dew made her delete all of those posts to avoid Marvel getting pissy with the Hype.

Sorry. :csad:

it's not gonna be here on the Hype.

I know it isnt. I just told you about the Carnage thread as an example. Its still copyright infringement if you post the issues on Myspace. But whatever. Its up to you.

oh, ok.
Thanks for the heads up. :)
i still want to do it, but if i get a ceist & desist, i will stop

maybe if they released an omnibus of it people wouldnt have to download it! I mean the amount of times I have heard people bad mouth the clone saga only to soon find out they havnt read it is ridiculous

Well this way they can read it.
maybe this will show Marvel that the thing should be reprinted.

i for one have never read the clone saga and would love to read all the issues in chronological order.

Why don't you just release it as a torrent, and let people download it?

I'm surprised it was never put in Graphic Novel form.

was the collection list in the ben reilly thread in chronological order?

Funny you start this thread, because about 16 months ago, I had this crazy idea about trying to get every single Spider-man issue in the clone saga. I thought I would do just a little at a time. Then I realized what a huge untertaking it was going to be, given the amount of issues, and that they were over 10 years old. Well after about 8 months, I managed to get every single issue, core titles and mini series. Then after all that work and money spent, I never read more than about the first 20 issues. I really need to finish it.

I dont have all of the Clone books, but I have a pretty large amount. A TPB would have to be enormous, probably even sold in sections. I know that there used to be a TPB of the original Clone Saga from the 70's, but I havent seen one in ten years. The Ultimate Spider-Man TPB is huge and the Clone Saga would be even bigger. :wow:

No, Oc, the list in the Reilly thread wasn't chronological, but alphabetical. But that's a good idea. I think I'll throw up the chrono order later today. Fer now, ya can head over to SamRuby.com where one exists.

It's because of it's noteriety. With all of the hatred and venom the Clone Saga got (and a good chunk of it was well-deserved), Marvel can't know for sure whether or not a collection of that size will actually yield a profit.

I know I'd buy one (or a few), simply because whatever faults it had, it is an important part of Spider-history.

I thought this was going to one of those things reenacted by bunnies.:cmad::csad:
