In this thread feel free to

1) Post images of:
Clone Saga Characters
Important Clone Saga moments

2) With a shortened version of the clone saga appearing in the Ultimate Spider-man comics, I thought it would be interesting to also cite one specific storyline in the saga (for ex. "Smoke and Mirrors" or "Power and Responsibility") and cite why you thought that specific story rocked or downright sucked and is the worst memory you have of the saga.

By the way,
While I'm aware that many hate remembering this, please don't give non-constructive posts like "The clone Saga Sucked". If making a reply please go with 1 of the two guidelines named above so that the thread stays on topic.

The clone saga...um....uh...um...fricken....psssssssh...*scratch scratch*.....yeah i got nothin...it sucked.

thank you Norman :)

That was when he came back to end the Clone Saga once & for all; the scar was from his glider impaling him back in the day.

I'll try to get some up later today...always loved that pic of Norman.

This was the worst part, it ruined such a great story. :( Of all the things to retcon why haven't they done it to this revalation.

i just wana say "this thread will never work". maybe that'll drive you guys on to actually post some pics and gt this into the hundred pages :p

Here are some pictures I was able to find on the web of the Jackal.

Below is a picture of the Jackal emerging from his regeneration tank. It is from the cover of Amazing Spiderman during the Smoke and Mirrors arc.

This is the Jackal from I believe Web of Spider-man 123 (the "Players and Pawn" storyline) shortly before before Maximum Clonaga took place. This was the issue I believe in which he left his huge hideout (which was pretty much located out in the middle of nowhere) and actually decided to don some duds this time. In this issue he battled Scarlet Spider in Parker's old high school gym I believe? Anyway, he faked getting beat by Scarlet Spider to study the insides of Dr. Kafka's Ravencroft Asylum for some forgettable reason.

Jackal coming out of his regenerative tank (a similar tank to which Kain was put into after being impaled by Spidercide) in which he had been lying dormant for some time while gaining enhanced superpowers since the original clone saga in the 1970's. This was the big reveal in the Smoke and Mirrors storyline, which was the near the best storyline (in my opinion) of the entire clone saga. If anyone has this picture including the background feel free to post it.

Now see, I thought getting Norman back was the only really good thing to come out of the Clone Saga.

You didn't like Ben? or Kaine? or any of the other characters introduced? What about the Death of Aunt May?, or the two J.M. Dematies Miniseries?

I LIKED Ben, but thought he was an ill replacement for Peter. His supporting cast didn't wow me & neither did Kaine. I didn't see the need for Aunt May to die. Refresh my memory on the minis.
Oh-I do like Spider-Girl.

In all fairness, I found the Clone Saga more enjoyable than not. I just feel it lasted too long, went too far, & just pissed all over itself. It could have been a great chapter in Spidey's history, & Ben Reilly could have been a great character, had they never tried to say that he was the real Peter. Instead it was a disaster that nearly ruined the book.

Nice, That has to be the best thing that came out of the Saga, hands down

And as much as I like Hobgoblin & even some Harry stories like "The Child Within", I found myself missing the conflict between Peter & Norman. It was intense b/c it was personal.

did they ever show Kaine with no mask? and if so, does anyone have a picture of it?

He has no mask in either Lost Years, Redemption, Spider-Girl, however the big reveal is in Spider-Man 60

can somebody tell me how the clone saga ended? from this thread i gather that norman somehow ended it, how exactly did he do that?

you got any pics from Spider-Man 60? I've never seen him w/o it in the 616 universe...

Ben Reily was going along thinking he was the original Peter. Norman shows up, impales him with his Glider, and he degenerates like clones do. Peter sees all this and Norman reveals he's the original, and it was all just an elaborate scheme to mess with his head.
