I kind of liked him more with the moderately long, curly hair. Since, you know, he's Greek and all.

You know the whole Clor subplot now seems even more rather pointless.

Oh and heres the rest of Herc's smackdown, prior to the other panel.

Bravo.

I have to admit, though--I wouldn't mind seeing Thor take Clor out with a single hammerstroke as his first act back on the scene. That would be a great beginning to Thor's new chapter.

Clor's definitely the least interesting of all the Thor clones, though. Even Red Norvell has more potential than a mute (as far as I've seen, anyway) half-clone, half-robot version of Thor. The fact that he's built partially from shoddy human tech means that he's gotta be leagues below the likes of Red, Bill, Dargo, or either of the Thunderstrikes, all of whom are powered by genuine divine magic.

None of the "repro" Thors were that interesting (or even necessary) to me. Only Norvell mildly so because of his hangup over Sif (it was a little tragic). There were too many of them and I never understood the obsession with making so many Thor copies. Sif herself said it best "Thor cannot be simply exchanged by hammers." too bad the Marvel editors didn't see it that way. Pretty disgusting, Sif having a relationship will Beta Ray. That made NO sense, I don't care how 'beautiful' his soul is. Cripes!

I couldn't see Thor even having to expend any real motion destroying Clor. Just point a pinky and POOF! An empty helmet clattering to the ground. :woot:

Hope they do Thor's relaunch right. I have reservations about an asgard over earth again, it just makes the asgardian pantheon less remarkable than the others and more ordinary. Besides, why would immortals want to live just above the earth? Maybe they'll remit that idea.

He looks too much like a bearded Fabio at the moment.

It's a cool scene, but that "you know something" line just doesn't work. It totally breaks the speech pattern Herc has in every other panel there.

I'm glad it was Herc that took Clor down. I hope that Marvel decides to power Herc up again to his previous levels (maybe even a touch stronger) as I think he could be one of the better heavy hitters Marvel has.

Since Clor is gone, who's going to be in JMS's Thor series? Could the REAL THOR be finally coming back?!

And just from this we can gather that Clone Thors abilities is nowhere near the originals.
So anymore arguments there are moot.

Oh right because Hercules was so distraught when that happened right? He didn't even seem to care, he'd rather batter him for dressing up like Thor than killing Bill Foster.

He didnt' have to speak for Bill Foster. They were both on the same side anyway. Clor had to go, and I'm fine that Herc did the job.

Ironically, Thor and Herc weren't even such great friends before. They tended to fight each other or want each other to butt out of their business more often than not. But, as the only other god on the scene, it's fitting that Herc kicked Clor's ass.

But really, is this truly the end Of Clor? The world may never know.

Well, Tony does have a tendency to build his armors in bulk. He may have a whole warehouse full of inactive Clors.

Yeah, but Clor was only an excuse to have Thor appear in CW. He never really had much purpose other than the surprise enterance in #3.

Yeah, and Millar initially wanted to use the real Thor. That would've pissed me off. A lot.

Yup, you have to also remember that "Cloud 9" (negative zone prison) is only idea #42 we have to wonder what number cloning other heroes comes in at. And that there were AT LEAST 3 more vats in the lab. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the new recruits are clone-borgs.
