Cloud Atlas

I had no idea Tom Hanks was this, consider me sold

You know what would be interesting, and I don't know if it will be in this film or not, but having the two of them switching genders from lifetime to life time, also maybe their sexual orientations.

I dunno about sexual orientation but gender swapping is in the film. As is playing different ethnic backgrounds.

One thing I'm intrigued about is this film cost 100 mil.... WTF? Hoping whoever financed this can give a hollywood seminar on how to get this production quality for that amount to other financiers because that's amazing. Grade A actors, expansive locations, and their future is beyond amazing in vfx. To me seeing that, there's no real reason for some other films to cost what they do. That can raise the bar for production quality for several films I think...

Showed my girlfriend the trailers and she's extremely excited. She doesn't even really watch movies haha.

It's the most expensive independent film ever made. Big credit to The Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer for getting it funded and made without studio involvement.

I'm just happy to see actors like Hanks and Berry being involved in anticipated projects again. I'll definitely be checking this out

The Chicago Intl. Film Festival starts this week and they'll be screening this next Wed. at the River East AMC with the Wachowskis there to field Q&A and watch with the audience. I shall be there and anyone else that's in the neighborhood let me know if you're going.

Jesus, is the DGA still pulling that sh**? I figured after Robert Rodriguez they'd have reevaluated this old as dirt bulsh** policy of their's.

Weird... I went to see the Silversun Pickups last night and they had two opening acts:

ATLAS Genius and CLOUD Nothings.

:wow:

What no follow up quip from dark b about how people don't understand budget reports?

The Wachowskis know how to stretch a dollar.

Looks too all over the place for me. I will wait to see what others think
