Wikipedia has the season listed as 15 episodes with the first 5 dropping in July, the next 5 in November and the last 5 in "2025". Assuming its correct, I don't have any other sources.Wait, there's a Part 3 as well?![]()

Now there's a show that Netflix pretty much managed to kill off my interest in because of their release schedule shenanigans in the last season. Why can't they just release a show in a normal way?I shudder to think at what they have in store for the final season of Stranger Things because if there's one show that doesn't need to be dragged out any longer than necessary, it's that one. I'm expecting at least a small month-long split like they did for season four but they can eff right off if they're going to split it into three parts over the course of a year.
3 parts for one season? It’s getting beyond dumb now lol. Guess they are trying to keep people subscribed over longer periods hoping they stay for other things in between.I'm curious why s6 needed to be divided into 3 parts spread over what, a year? I'm hyped to watch it though.
Same here. It's the only reason I'm going to subscribeThey know that there are thousands of people, like myself, that will only be subscribing to watch the final season. Now instead of only paying them for 1 month, I have to pay them for 3. It's all about greed.
That, too.I am keeping Netflix because WWE is coming in January 2025.
Why not go to a weekly release model like other streaming services, though? It's because they want to promote that after all those years they keep their all-episodes-at-once strategy, so they've found a way to have their cake and eat it too. They know that there are thousands of people, like myself, that will only be subscribing to watch the final season. Sure for simulcast or licensed stuff, but some reason they want to die on the hill of binge watch for original production. And splitting seasons is their way to ensure that apparently.Anime has forced Netflix to adopt a weekly release schedule for simulcast anime, so it isn't something they are unfamiliar with. I assume it is is a combination of ego and worried that Netflix users won't respond that well, considering Netflix essentially was built on the binge watch.

Now this has me debating on whether or not I should wait to re-up my Netflix. Cobra Kai was going to be my main reason for going back in a few weeks but I could probably hold out for another couple of months for part two to watch them all.First 5 episodes were really entertaining but not really a lot to talk about unfortunately. It looks like we won't be getting any of the good stuff till November which thankfully isn't that long away.
Splitting this into three parts already feels forced though.
