What coffees do you like?

I have tried a few different types and I thought it might be an interesting thread to allow us to discuss different types of coffee.

I personally hate Starbucks with a passion.
I have to say at this point, the best coffee I have tried is Gevalia.
I really like the Mocha coffee, linked HERE

What are your favorites?

I like putting hazelnut cream in it.

I agree with you about Starbucks coffee. Even though they claim to have 'varieties', they all taste the same - bitter. Their roasting sucks, IMO.

Gevalia is good, but expensive. :(

My favorite is Eight O'Clock Coffee. It's available whole-bean (and someplaces carry the ground too) in your grocery store. It really is the best I've found. You can make it strong and it stays smooth and full without becoming bitter.

I like the red-bag Original best, but all are good... even their French and Dark roasts, which generally I'm less fond of.

I'm not very keen on Starbucks' hot milk :o But Nero and Costa do nice coffee

When I'm at home I have either Carte Noir or Nescaffe Alta Rica - they are both excellent :)

Caramel Macchiato,Strawberries n creme frapp..mmmmm

What's the purpose of putting flavoring in your coffee? That and people that put half a bottle of creamer and a pound of sugar in it...blasphemy.

I hate coffee with a passion :down

I buy Starbucks French Roast Whole Bean. I grind it every morning. I make it 1 Table Spoon per Cup, then add just a little sugar.

At work, every now and again, we get Cuban Coffee. Its the t*ts.

I can tell this is going to be my favorite thread.

New England Coffee is my favorite.

I thought you would've been post #2 in here :D

I work at Starbucks and I know people say our coffee seems 'burnt' but I think it's just that most people are used to really mild blends like Nabob etc.

I don't know, I'm probably brainwashed but nothing gets me going more then a cup of Verona from Starbucks :)

since I work at Costa i suppose I'm biased >.< like a nice caramel latte or a mocha

I'd never thought I'd go the route of instant coffee, but I fell in love with Chock Full O' Nuts instant coffee and now they no longer make it.

I need a new coffee maker and my coffee press is busted. Since I'm mega picky, it'll take awhile before I settle on a coffee machine.
I am scoping out Melita, I've had two of them in a row and loved them.

Does anyone like Peets?

Long ago I had some coffee called Black Silk and it was amazing, it was at some deli in the city. The **** was expensive and I've seen it since. *googles*

Never had it. But a lot of what you lot from in the states are going on about makes it seem like you get much better choice than we do in England. The most choice I get is if to put milk in it or not :o
