Colossus... X3 is just so lazy

I laughed at this but it's really kind of annoying how half assed the whole X3 thing is. Look at the back of the DVD... Colossus isn't even CG'd up... it's just the dude wearing the mask and you can see his eyes. Remember the old pic released before X3 came out of Colossus that everybody was ripping apart? Yeah... same deal. And where did they get that pic of Cyke from? X2 publicity stills?

Wait what? I don't even own the movie. I was just looking at the DVD at a grocery store and thought that the character pic seemed more out of MK: Annihilation with the awkward face. I didn't have to squint to notice a dude in a bad mask. I hardly ever visit the X3 forums because there isn't much to say... the movie sucked, main characters got treated like garbage, celebs took over, plot holes galore, the villains looked and acted like morons, and well... I guess there's a LOT to say. No nitpicking necessary. You'd have to be blind not to see it. No point in defending something that's half assed on one of the biggest money making movies of all time. While it's not super important, it IS just plain lazy.

ummm...where have you been? Its been known for months that Cudmore wore a suit and they touched up parts with cgi. And all of Cyclops promos were from X3.

Yeah but his point is that they didn't even finish the special effects for the DVD cover, they just took the quick & easy way by photographing the dude in the suit.

im looking at it and it doesnt look bad.

its not like u see the skin around his eyes like u did in that unfinished pic that was released before

you see the white and pupils of his eyes... not completly sure but if i remember correctly, his promo pic was like that also

it may not be pure white, but im pretty sure they took the time to CG off his skin. i dont think its as a "half ass job" as much as u think

Ok...We get it....Fox and Ratner F`ed Colossus hard...without a condom..... hopefully Fox will realize how much us fans love Colossus and how we thought Cudmore is perfect for him and we will get a better Colossus in X4

Except for the fact he can't act??? Yea I love him but I understand why they gave him one line. Even the lines in X2 were crappy...but he did look awesome as Colossus.

You dont know if he can act or not. What has he exactly been in to judge his acting ability from? Also The fact that he hasnt been in many movies isnt a reason in of itself to justify saying he can not act without evidence. and if you go to the colossus thread specter has an interview with cudmore posted...he has a nice screen presence and he can speak well.

The lines from X2 he delivered were so crappy to me. They seemed hoaky and rehearsed too much. Plus the lacking of a Russian accent of any kind made me mad too. I really think that his ability or lack there of to act is one reason he got the shaft in X3. I am sure he is a cool guy, but I don't think he can act that well from what I have seen.

Its hard to judge a performance on less than 6 lines though, for all we know Singer could have told him to deliver the lines that way. Im not 100% for Cudmore to the death, but at least let him mess up (preferrably not in the xmen franchise )before we take out the frying pan. He has a very unique look to him, here's for the best.

Was it Alone in the dark? He barely had any lines in that too, Plus its Uwe Boll ........... so yeah thats all I have to say on that LOL
In that movie he spoke even less than in X3
