there's something... sickeningly beautiful about the Joker. I love the Joker. He wants so badly to rule Gotham, but at the same time he knows the game is only fun when you have a worthy adversary. That's what I love about Joker in his later years. He'd only kill Batman, if it was the last thing he ever did.

Joker in his early years is just a sociopath. Hell bent on conquering anything or anyone that stands in his way. He wears purple, the color of royalty, acting as if he is Gotham's king, all while portraying the kings lowest servant. There is a certain level of respect all bat-fans must have for the Joker. Whether or not they like him, you have to respect that he respects the Dark Knight.

If I could ever get inside any Batman villians head for just a day, it'd be Joker for sure.

And speaking of Jack palance, I heard that he was put into B89 because he was the only actor that could upstage Jack Nickolson or could be believeable as Jack's boss. But I wonder, what would Jack Palance be like as the (albeit old) Joker? More sinister creepy old guy than funny creepy old guy (Nicholson).
