'Comic Book Idol 3' begins Sept 4th!

In case you haven't heard Comic Book Idol is returning after two years on September 4th, 2007. Here's the press release:

Does anyone know where to find the rules? I looked but all they had posted was that announcement.

The rules and other details will be released during the course of this month although basic rules from previous years include:

- Contestant has to be 18 and above
- Competition open to artists all around the world.
- This is a competition for amateurs. So artists who have done professional comic work are not eligible. Artists from other fields may enter.

In the past years they asked interested artists to put up their submissions on a web page (you could try deviantart or photobucket or even start a thread here on SHH! Forums) and send them a link.

It's most likely going to happen the same way this year. Generally they prefer you to send in your best sequential stuff but other illustrations, covers, pin-ups are allowed too.
