comic cowl/ costume by jester fx

hi all here are some pix of a new cowl i did shortlhy befor halloween in both blue and black the concept behind this cowl was to make it look like what the cowls look like in the comic. i love the movie cowls and the look of what dead end did with a latex mask on a spandex costume so i decided to sculpt a cowl that captured the look of the ears and muscles that comic artiest put in their work and try and bring that comic look to life in a mask to match the amazing spandex suits that are out there

the costume is a spandex suit made of regular lycra with a lycra bat on it i have yet to add my new latex jim lee bat the belt is a 8 pockit canvis belt and vynal boots some how i lost my black briefs and gloves lol and the cape is a new item of mine it is a pvc vynal 6 panel cape that is all hand made with 2 industrial snaps to hold the neck closed

love the whole Batman outfit, except the bat on the chest, would rather see a tougher bat

where did u get the pvc vynal?

i feel the same way about the bat that is a spandex bat that came with it it was all my seamstress had at the time i made a latex jim lee bat for it and also am doing a frank miller bat now and can also do any other bay people may want

the pvc vynal is a normal off the shelf fabric that any good on line fabric shop should have or fabric store in your local town but if you serch for pvc vynal on line it will also pop up

once i have time in the next week to do so i am taking more pix of the cape and will be changing the bat to the jim lee one
