FoxTrot would make for a good series, but I'd rather it be cartoon and/or cgi.

i've always wished there was a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. But it'd have to be drawn to match Watterson's style, and the backgrounds could look like they were water color.

LITTLE NEMO IN SLUMBERLAND - Windsor McCay actually did a silent film circa 1911, demonstrating how to animate illustrations, in which he actually made an animated short of his own characters from LITTLE NEMO IN SLUMBERLAND.

There was also a well made, altough not 100% faithful feature length animated film made around 20 years ago.

And, I agree completely about a Beetle Bailey film.

I think a live action Calvin & Hobbes movie would be awesome. Cast a blonde haired little boy to play Calvin, and constantly CGI his daydreams and imaginary adventures with Hobbes.

I remember, years and years ago, there was a movie starring the late Gary Coleman (back when he was a big star on Dif'rent Strokes) as a kid who was constantly daydreaming. It was actually an espionage action/comedy, kinda like the movie Cloak & Dagger, where he has an important piece of stolen government property but he doesn't even realize it. Then these KGB agents keep trying to take it from him, but he keeps using his daydreams to come up with ways of escaping. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the movie, but a Calvin & Hobbes movie done in a similar vein would be a lot of fun.

I wish someone would give the Phantom a decent treatment. The 90's version with Billy Zane was okay. (At least it had Catherine Zeta Jones pre-Michael Douglas.) But that 4 hour movie on Syfy was dreck. I mean, it was dreck with potential but it was still......well, dreck.

I loved that movie, I think Zane was great as The Phantom t:
agree with you, It's such an underrated character these days, could be great to see a new movie made entirely on the jungle.

I like Dragon Tiger Gate, has awesome fights, the end is a little weird though
