Comedy Community - Part 4

"I don't believe in evil but this school clearly got a finger up its butt as a child."

Hahahahahaha

Starburns is alive though.

"Abed! Think of something safe like Holly Hunter or Don Cheadle!!"

I was on the fence after the first episode but this second one is GOLD. Pure season 1 or 2 level again! This is the show I've missed for soooo long!

Oh and of course Shirley loves Hellraiser! Hahahaha

From another interview I read,

Pierce's character does die at some point this season.

Ya the show has definitely gotten back on track. Dan coming back has done wonders and brought back what made me love season 1-3 so much. I do love how season 4 is considered the gas leak year.

Is the sixth season and a movie completely out of the realm of possibility?

I remember before they fired Harmon and renewed it, Harmon said there were other networks or Netflix or something willing to make a final season.

"This is a 4 year process, we went in at one end as real people and out out the other end as mixed up cartoons" - Jeff

summed it up perfectly.

I'd be more than fine with six seasons and a movie. It'd would be epic on a meta level and easily to do.

NBC needs another short season to hit syndication... and I could see Netflix or someone trying to be cool and give Harmon and Co. and 90 minute film budget that will make the show go out on a bang and actually on it's own account.

I could imagine a season 6 being picked up by Netflix if NBC chose to pass, but I'm not sure how probable that is.

Such a strong return last night. I am so pumped for the rest of the season.

All they need to be renewed for another season and then if worst comes to worst on the movie, there's Kickstarter.

I really hope Jonathan banks sticks around for a bit. One episode and his character is funnier then Pearce ever was, which is probably helped by that fact that banks is a phenomenally better actor than Chevy chase.

Jonathan Banks is locked in for 11 episodes (of a 13 episode season), and one episode already aired without him, so....

Hahahahahaha

And that ladies and gentlemen is what happened to Britta as a child in relation to her dinosaur man in a suit related trauma.

At least that's how I took it.

Ya know, on a second watch, Troy didn't really seem to do too much. He seems to be gettin the treatment Pierce seemed to get last year. Seemingly so

I think that's a bit intentional, since his big problem is the loss of personal identity, becoming nothing more than an extension of Abed. I'm guessing this is how they'll write him out of the show, him having some great personal realization that leads him elsewhere.
