Comedy Community - Part 4

I think i'm at a point where ratings really don't matter to me anymore…

The show has always had mediocre ratings and yet, here we are. Its a miracle we've gotten 5 seasons as it is, remember back in the day when just a 2nd season seemed like a long shot…

I'm just enjoying the ride.

…plus keep in mind that Harmon has gone on record that there are other networks (Comedy Central comes to mind) that are willing to pick up Community for a season in the event NBC drops them.

I figured... But, what more can NBC ask for?

They dick around this show so much that it's amazing it gets any ratings (because of our huge following) but outside of that, casual fans don't know when or where it will air because it has no common schedule ever.

Also, did you hear about those idiots running tv spots saying 'greenville' and not greendale. What crap...

I'm hoping they just give us what we want (6 seasons/movie) on Harmon's terms to appease us for all the other troubles over the years.

The good thing about this show is its probably really cheap to make which is part of why it lasted so long and other networks wouldn't mind picking it up.

I really enjoyed the two episodes and hope that the final 11 keep the same tone. Good to have it back.

Jonathan Banks really fit in well with the ensemble. Impressively so since he literally just arrived and he's already filled in Pierce's seat at the study table.

And his character is already funnier and more interesting than Pierce.

Banks is great and I'm glad he's in the cast for the long haul this season.

:awesome:

It's Latin for "And you Brutus?"

It was (probably really was not) supposedly the last thing Julius Caesar said as he was killed on the Senate floor. Pretty much means you betrayed me too?

If I'd been stabbed 60 times within a few minutes, my last words would not have been anything so coherent haha

Yeah, mine would be more like from the Dave Chappelle stand-up about the 911 call. "HELP! Oh, I can't stop crying. Oh, I just **** myself."

This episode was hilarious, especially because I loved Dave in the 90s.

The return of Duncan!

Those DMB jokes were awesome... especially Jeff's "...the space between."

The beginning made me think of From Hell or something

I'll be the dissenter. I didn't like this episode. It wasn't really funny. The first two episodes back were great. This episode felt like it tried so hard to be "meta," (which got old in season 3) but instead it felt like part of the Date/Epic/Superhero Movie franchise. This could've been "Cop Movie." It just took cliches and replaced them with ass jokes.

Yea I wasn't too fond of it either. It was ok. Felt more like a season 3 episode though.

I didn't like it as much as the first two, but I really enjoyed it. However, what show was it supposed to be spoofing? I wasn't familiar with the credits/logo they did.
