Britta was certainly looking great in this ep. Was it the season finale?

They've had Britta wearing more colors this season. I think they've tried to "normalize" her a bit. I honestly don't recall any stand out "Britta" moments when compared to previous seasons and not too many jokes were made at her expense this year either.

I kinda liked it.

Potentially the series finale. The show always seems to be teetering on getting canceled. For once I'd like to know ahead of time if it's gotten renewed or canceled just so I'm not wondering months later whether they're going to renew it or not.

I remember the last year or two was possibly the series finale, this year might be too and then if they get another season that might be it as well.

I can see them continuing to do the series at the college, with them all varying degrees of teachers there. We've already got Chang as an ex-teacher with Jeff and Hickey as current ones.

Why not make the others some kind of staff too? It continues their tradition of being stuck in Greendale.

I didn't. Every year the ratings go down and I think there's no way NBC would renew at that level.

However each season it performs better than the new comedies that NBC drags out.

Sony was able to make a deal work with NBC last year that had The Blacklist, Welcome To The Family and the Night Shift (summer show) ordered to series with a 13 episode renewal for Community.

Sony only has comedy Marry Me in contention at NBC and The Blacklist is NBC's biggest hit in ages, so maybe they can make another 10-13 episode deal for the show. Parks and Rec was renewed and both shows have essentially the same numbers.

Community received a sixth season order on May 10, it would be nice for NBC to say they show will be back this week. CBS will be airing Thursday Night Football for September and October, why try to launch new shows up against that and then Big Bang Theory - just sacrifice Parks and Community until November.

I thought it was a fun ep that would serve as a decent enough series finale as the show doesn't really need closure of these characters moving on at the end, they should all be sitting at that table when they are as old as Pierce.

Yeah that was great. I think that was the most meta they've gotten.

With Abed talking about them being in a show and the looking directly into the camera at the end, definitely. I'd never want them to fully break the fourth wall but coming up close to it like this has always been one of the show's many appeals.

I thoroughly enjoyed this season. It might be the best since the second. If it's the end I'll be bummed but in that case it will have gone out on a high note. Though from what I gather it's more likely that it will be renewed for season 6, fulfilling one half of the hallowed prophecy.

It does seem weird for NBC to bother to get Dan back, let him kick butt... only to cancel.

It does leave a nice True Detective (circular) like situation for the series, with tonight's end.

Kind of wished Troy stopped by for a visit.

It was a decent finale. But it definitely didn't feel much as a "Series Finale".

Something tells me they already know they'll be back…

Aw thanks. Total brain fart. Also I loved how meta Abed got today. Also the gag during the credits seemed like an open **** you to NBC. Still I wouldn't doubt it getting renewed since NBC's line ups keep getting weaker.

I laughed the whole episode. It was weaker than the finales of the first three seasons, but it worked for me, if only for Abed breaking down the Jeff & Britta spin-off syndrome. Plus it was gold. It was made of gold.
