Comedy Community - Part 4

There's also a wedding in the series finale.

Kind of wished Troy stopped by for a visit.
Yeah, I thought he still had an episode he was supposed to be in :(

if only for Abed breaking down the Jeff & Britta spin-off syndrome. Plus it was gold. It was made of gold.
All of the titles he listed for the spin-off sounded EXACTLY like what they would make lol

It was a fitting end to the series if it does indeed become the finale. They saved Greendale and everyone is happy.

Another great line

Jeff: "Sorry, I lose track of how big I'm getting"

Dean: "I don't"

:D

he is bigger isnt he?

good finale. not funny enough but after 4 seasons it was good .

I liked the finale.I would be shocked/pissed if they don't get a 6th season.

Yeah, I really am surprised her career hasn't really taken off outside of television yet.

I last remember her in that film with Chris Prat,Jason Segal and Emily Blunt, she also has a film coming out with Will Ferrell I believe

Yes, Five Year Engagement, and she had a pretty big role in the Lego Movie too

Community non-news news on the renewal or cancellation. EP Chris McKenna keeps bouncing between hopeless and hopeful.

“Community” executive producer Chris McKenna waxed pessimistic about his perennially on-the-bubble NBC show’s chances for a pickup.

@AltNationNet @nbc @Sony @danharmon Community is dead. Pick a new show to make unthreatening threats about.

@AltNationNet @GreendaleYear4 @nbc @Sony @danharmon Rumors of its death may be exaggerated. But prepare yourself for non-exaggeration.

The show’s season finale aired April 17 and logged a 1.0 demo rating and 2.9 million viewers. For the season, the series’ averaged a 1.5 demo rating, which was down 1/10thcommunity from last season, and its total viewers haul grew from previous season’s 3.5 million to 3.7 million this most recently wrapped season. That said, there are not too many timeslots in which there would be a discussion about renewal with these numbers – but Community went head-to-head against CBS ratings juggernaut The Big Bang Theory. Dan Harmon, who was brought back to the series, spoke about a possible sixth season for the show, at PaleyFest. Harmon said back then it’s conceivable the cult comedy could have a future via new VOD models such as Netflix and Hulu should the Peacock not include it as part of its 2014-2015 season. “I think that we’re old reliable, like a Tupperware in the fridge,” Harmon said about NBC’s silence about a renewal. “We’ll find out when the network is the hungriest.” Harmon said he’s heard “whispers from dark corners” about the possibility of Community, produced by Sony, being resurrected through a streaming format, should NBC completely deep-six the comedy series. And, this morning, McKenna seemed to be more optimistic about a pick-up:

@AltNationNet Late night fatalism based on negative whispers. I should never presume anything regarding this show.

I'm seeing that things aren't looking good for a 6th season right now.C'mon NBC.

If it is indeed dead, none of us can deny that it had a nice run.

I'm not disappointed with the ending we got. If it had ended after season four I'd be peeved.

I really enjoyed season 5 and thought it was mostly a return to form. The ending was great, and I'm glad the show will have at least gone out on a high note should season six not happen.

Yeah, it's kind of pointless to make it past 3 and not get to 6/movie.

They shouldn't even brought back Harmon if they didn't intend to do the 6th season as well, no matter what the ratings are... just for us true fans.

Just by looking at the numbers, this series had no right to survive past Season 1…

Its had an amazing run, regardless of whether or not its renewed.

Looking at the numbers isn't the whole picture when your competition is The Big Bang Theory.

Don't they need 3 more episodes for syndication?
