i dont even think this show should be on for 5 or 6 seasons.

i say if the ratings are good enough make a 4 season and then end it. no show can be on the same level more then 4 seasons. fillers dont count.

That's true, look at the Office for a good example of that happening right now.

I've seen plenty of community ads

Okay but seriously, why is this show even considering being canceled? This is one of the best comedies on TV right now. I dont see how this is even getting bad ratings either. Most of the people I know love the show. NBC is ****ing ******ed if they cancel community

Not to mention the fact that when the first season was released a few weeks ago, it was the #1 seller on amazon...

Not just the quality drop, I just think it would be good because after 4 years they move out of the college right?

The sixth and seventh seasons of the Simpsons are the best seasons besides maybe the fourth.

yes but all seasons-all episodes are not 10/10 until the 7th season right?

you can have 10 season where you have good episodes. but there are always some bad episides in the middle.

There's not a single show that's had an entire season of 10/10 episodes. Some shows only get one of those in their lifetime, like Scrubs.

They could maybe drag it to 5 years or have half the study group leave and replaced with new people. Chang is just starting out as a student so he could be around for a fifth along with Shirley, Britta, Abed and Pierce.

Last year when the ratings weren't great I thought 4 years would be good enough for this show, the quality likely won't drop. Same with Arrested Development. Fox could've kept it on Sundays and it would've survived but it could be in season eight right now, I doubt the quality would've remained for another five years. That was one of the benefits of AD's cancellation after 53 episodes is that they had a great ending and we didn't see it become like so many shows that keep on continuing where half the fanbase if not more is turned off with the weak material. Another 25 or 50 episodes of AD would've been great, same with Community.

The British model has the right idea, 6-8 episodes a season. Even cable can sustain shows longer with their 10-13 episode seasons. Some are getting greedy and having 18 episode orders but a network show with 20-24 episodes can't sustain the quality for very long.

My lord, if ever an NBC show supersized, this was it.

I loved Pierce running around as a crazy old man at the end. "I'll kill you Sanders, I'll kill you!"

Totally delivered on this episode. Looks like the show has an official arch-villain with the dean of the other college.

The Dean and his map of rest stops (complete with ratings and "thumbs up," by each one) was amazing.

""We are forty light years outside of the Buttermilk Nebula, although it's possible that... yeah. This is a sticker."

:funny:

"But maybe if I do this...it will solve everything"

I love the random 1 liners troy gets in nearly every episode. The second episode of this season with the "Did you know that gogurt was really just yogurt" and this oh man.

I hope someone counted how many references there was to KFC and Colonel Sanders, I was hungry 10 minutes in.

From the opening scene I knew that this episode would deliver. Fantastic all around, could've used some more Chang.

The Dean's rating system just got funnier and funnier.

Everything could use more Senor Chang. As much as I adored the "serious comedy parody" moments of the episode, his two bits were the ones that made me laugh hardest. That and Troy.

"Re-rout them to what?"
*Backs away slowly*
