His hair is fine. Only thing to do is trim a little on the back of the neck and a bit longer sideburns. The longer sideburns will make him look a bit older.

Its like, Singer looked at his producers and said " lets cast the guy who looks the most like Christopher Reeve ", instead of finding someone to truly make the role there own!!!!

I think the resemblence is more in the acting than the appearance, although sometimes he looks just like him.

If there shooting to make a film like the 1978 Donner film, then NO, Routh was not miscast!!! Routh has the same look as Reeve and its obvious thats what they were going for!!! I see so much of Reeve when I look at Routh!!!

The reason I didn't want the new Superman to look like Reeve in the first place was so that he could make the role his own, to AVOID being called a Reeve clone and then the comparison could only be based on performance!!!! It all ties into the fact that the 78 film's shouldn't have been used as a templete, it was done, finished!!!!!

BTW, the one glaring difference is the size of the two men. Reeve was BUFF, while Routh is " built ". There is a difference!!!

Not only is he lifting the globe, he's balancing it as well as landing with it.
