Brandon Routh might be a good Superman, but I can take one good look at Cavill and his facial expressions, and garuntee that Cavill is twice the overall ACTOR that Routh is!!!!!

You realize you're only making yourself look bad here. For you to say that Cavil is a better actor for the part of Superman than Routh, from a photo, proves no other facts that show why he would be. It only adds to speculation that you wouldn't be satisifed with anything other than Reeve. Maybe for the next movie we'll get you some pictures of Cavil just posted there with dialouge spoken behind it, and that'll be your favorite Superman movie of all time.

i sure Cavill would have been great, just like caviezel, or fraser, or welling...with the right look, all u really need is an all-american, square jaw, built guy. Not much more to it (just in terms of looks). Routh happens to look very similar to Reeve, but i have a feeling, just from the trailers alone, both of his characters will be significantly different from both characters of reeve.

don't you mean all three characters? i kinda think cavill would've been too young. he's only in his early 20s and he looks it. i really don't see much resembelance of routh to reeve. they only seem similar b/c they both have superman qualties.

HIS PART IS ON THE WRONG SIDE!

It might be nit picking to some people, but with everything else wrong with the costume, you'd think they'd get the part right! Everytime I see the pictures from the new movie it reminds of the way some one would make superman look who never read the comics and only had images of Supes described to him. You know never actually saw even a picture of supes first hand and took a stab at making a Superman movie.

On a side note I never notice Reeve's part changed sides from when he was clark and superman.

Yes. Me too. I've got Season 2 on DVD and I watch them all the time. The ones with Bizzaro are my favorites. I would like to see more Superman:The Animated Series cartoons and movie projects. It'd be great to have an animated Superman movie released in theatres, like they did with Batman.
