Iron Man 2 Concerns About Iron Man 2

My main problems with articles like those are presuming all these big names stars will have large roles. They won't. I don't expect Scarlett to have a gigantic amount of screen time, I'd bet it'll be about the same size Paltrow had in the first one. I'm guessing Sam Jackson will have one or two legit scenes simply talking about The Avengers.

This movie won't be about the actors. it'll be about the story. And as long as ego's don't get into the way of the story, everything will be fine.

I'm not concerned because

• The trailer just hit home how much Downey Jr. owns Tony Stark.
• I don't think much will be asked of Johannson in her role as the Black Widow so I don't think she'll have the opportunity to stink up the place. All she has to do is not do an Alba, say her lines convincingly and she'll be fine.
• I find Mickey Rourke to be a very menacing looking and a downright intimidating villain, I think he will do great. Also, IM wasn't excellent because of who the villain was, IM2 I'm sure will be the same deal. It's all about Tony.
• With the superhero being Iron Man, it's kind of hard not to have a lot of action scenes no? People want to see the armour, and they want to see what it can do. All the trailer was doing was trying to guarantee bums in the seats.

They only thing I'm concerned about is that I have to put myself through the torture of watching Paltrow again.

My biggest concern is also whiplash, im sure he will have a good story and help with the plot, but giant electric whips??? Iron man can fly 20 feet up in the air and shoot him. He just doesnt seem like a big threat to me

So really... That is a concern... Could someone explain to me the mechanics of why they think SHIELD agents wouldn't be able to just shoot him in the head or something?

Does it have to do with the suit and he has an invisible woman thing going, is it because Hammer has a contract with SHIELD and they ain't allowed to shoot him. What do you think all?

All I'm saying is, if Stark was killed at the racetrack, say after the arc specs were handed over to whoever wanted them and after Hammer got the Mark 2, then the military could mass produce the Iron Man armor and Arc reactors. All like Stane wanted to do from the beginning.

It had a lot less flaws than SM3 - SM2 is actually my favorite...

The same thing could have been said for the Joker in TDK. Why didn't somebody just shoot him? He has no powers, just evil charisma and that wouldn't stop a bullet. Yet we know how that film turned out.

Well I guess one concern is how they will approach Mandarin and if they will continue to avoid it in the second movie.

This is probably the only concern I really have. They need to take a futher step towards the Mandarin in this movie. Obviously he's not going to be in it,but they need more than just a vague reference this time.

My only concern is the abundance of characters.

I honestly hope there's a REALLY GOOD reason for Black Widow and War Machine to show up and not Venom their way into the movie.

And as long as the focus isn't taken away from Tony Stark/Iron Man then there shouldn't be a problem.

Also I hope this doesn't turn into a "I don't want to be a superhero for half the movie sequel". It was bad enough the Red/Gold armor got about 5 minutes of screen time in the first one.
